"Milady es una persona encantadora, muy disponible. Nos habló de la isla y de los mejores lugares para visitarla. También nos prestó 4 máscaras para snorkel. Nos llevó al centro en su cuatriciclo y estuvo atenta a todo lo que necesitábamos. El alojamiento es muy hermoso si te gusta estar en medio de la naturaleza y con poco ruido. Lleno de pájaros y plantas. Rústico pero muy cómodo y agradable. Estaba limpio y había agua caliente. Caminando podés llegar en 15' al centro y 30' a la playa pública. Nos encantó la ubicación porque está alejada de la calle principal que es muy ruidosa"

Walking around the neighborhood because too many dogs. Though most were chained but their threatening bucks and sometimes meeting unchained ones scared me off. I don’t like dogs!

A bit off the beaten path - we were aware of it and it didn't bother us, but be prepared for 1 km or so of dirt road until you get there.

"Excellent, large clean apartment with huge beds and a cosy sun room. Well equipped and conveniently situated in a quiet friendly village."

The hot water supply took a while to get used to but no issues thereafter.

"There is a kitchen where I was able to prepare my own meals. All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it.

La piscina podía estar un poco más limpia. Además el entretenimiento para los niños me pareció un poco escaso comparado con otros años

"Seyfu is giving his best to satisfy his guests. He came to pick me up to the airport, showed around Lalibela, even took me as a guide to few rock-hewn churches, for free, provided breakfast every morning, all for free, even though it wasn’t included in my booking. His place is clean, yet within local community, which I really liked. You see how locals live. It is onsuite room with large bed, separate entrance, free wifi, towels changed every day, bed made every day. I don’t have enough words to describe his hospitality. You simply become friend with Seyfu straight away. Thank you brother for everything!"

"La ubicación es excelente en un área tranquila, con restaurantes, mercados, pubs, etc. Además se encuentra a 300 m del terminal de Bugibba, que te permite llegar fácilmente a distintos puntos de la isla. Los utensilios de cocina te permite preparar un desayuno simple, nada sofisticado."

Nada negativo en particular, lo único que destacaría era problemas con el herraje del WC, que en algunas ocasiones no bajaba bien la descarga del tanque por medio de la palanca.

The only downside was the lack of basic hygiene items like towels and soap. Overall, a great place to stay!

Instalaciones antiguas no renovadas

"Lo mejor del alojamiento es la situación, esta en pleno centro. Puedes ir a todos sitios andando y además, justo al lado tienes el centro comercial con supermercado."

Cómo ya habíamos leído en comentarios los dos pisos de escaleras, son un poco estrechas. Aunque volvería a alojarme en ese apartamento.

"Espacio bonito, comodo , limpio y muy bien cuidado. Checkin super rapido y facil."

Me falto sabanas para el sofa . Quiza un poco caro para lo que se puede encontrar en el Pais.

"The host and hostess were very kind and helped us check in almost close to midnight. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were simple and clean."

Missed an on-site restaurant and had to drive almost six kms away for decent breakfast. The Wifi could be better. The approach road is accessible only by a off roader 4x4.

El complejo es bonito, ordenado y cómodo pero es verdad que la limpieza no estaba al 100% pero no es algo que nos molestará, simplemente como dato a tener en cuenta.
