"Nice quiet place to stay for the night. A beautiful setting overseeing the ocean. Interesting property."

The limited spoken English at reception.

"We loved the view from our eco friendly and very well appointed self contained place - we could see the sea and were surrounded by trees, flowering plants and birds. We liked being a short walk downhill to the village of Castara with grocery shops, places to eat local food and entertainment. Bars on the beach were very friendly. We loved getting a boat to nearby coves and snorkelling. Paradise for us!"

The fairly stiff walk back from the village is fine as long as you don't rush. The Castara Retreats Restaurant serves lovely fresh fish caught locally but wine as you might expect is eye wateringly expensive. Try Stag beer instead and even that is twice as expensive as in the village.

"Great view from the terrace, comfortable queen size bed, quiet area. The kitchen is small but has all equipment. The shower pressure is low bit low. Owners are responding on the spot and live just the house above! Any problem, they respond rapidly."

La piscina podía estar un poco más limpia. Además el entretenimiento para los niños me pareció un poco escaso comparado con otros años

"We stayed in the apartment A402, I believe their are a number of units rented in the complex. We had underground parking a few steps from the lift. The apartment is spacious with a great terrace with great views, including Mont Blanc in the distance. It was very well kitted out and very comfortable. I felt it was good value for the price we paid."

The beds and bed linen are ok (clean) but could do with an upgrade. The bathroom could also do with an upgrade, remove the bath and put in a shower, and upgrade the lighting, but that is just my opinion. The WiFi is a bit hit and miss, it is been connected through a Netgear Router from the apartment directly above.

"La ubicación en el campo pero a poco andando de la carretera donde tomas el transporte, vas al supermercado o a la playa. Hacía tiempo que no veía tantos gallos, gallinas, etc… en libertad. Es lo que oyes por la mañana."

La lavadora estaba fuera del apartamento en un cuarto minúsculo. Cuando llegas y sales tienes que andar un poco bajo el sol, con calor y demás, a no ser que tengas coche.

"me tocó un departamento muy grande con una vista maravillosa y espectacular al Katara Towers y a toda la perla. el depatamento se encuentra cerquita de la playa y de los restaurantes para ir caminando el personal muy amable me dieron la habitacion antes de la hora y me prestaron un cargador para el mobil ya que los enchufes no eran compatibles. regresare nuevamete"

lamentablemente las ventanas no son a prueba de ruido por lo que se escuchaba a los trabajadores toda la mañana pero la vista maravillosa lo arreglo todo.

"Ha sido, con diferencia, lo mejor de Honiara, Ellicia y su familia ha cuidado cada detalle de los días que pasamos en su cómoda casa, en principio fueron dos, pero un tuvimos problemas con el vuelo, que ellos intentaron por todos los medios ayudarnos a resolver, al final tuvimos que quedarnos 6 dias más, entonces nos organizaron con una agencia de viajes para irnos a bahía Roderick, que fue una experiencia increíble, al regreso fue como llegar a casa🩷 Estamos muy agradecidos y recomendamos mucho muchísimo!!! Access Units, todo super limpio, dejan comida que en caso de que no quieras salir, puedes prepararte y hasta te lavan la ropa, esto para nosotros fue super porque llevamos1 mes viajando y todavíanos quedan dos!!! Que más se puede pedir!!"

Me sorprendio que haciendo la reserva para dos personas solo incluyera desayuno para uno y si el otro queria tenia que pagarlo. Nunca habia vivido una situacion igual

"El personal era amable. Tienen un supermercado debajo que tiene de todo. El apartamento es grande, cuenta con todo lo que te hace falta."

La limpieza deja mucho que desear...habían cucarachas.

"Das Appartement hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage mit Blick auf die Burg von Făgăraș sowie seitlich auf die orthodoxe Kirche. Es liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, so dass eine Parkplatzsuche nicht notwendig ist. Nahezu direkt unter dem Appartement befinden sich ein ganz kleiner Laden, in dem man das Nötigste (z.B. Getränke) erhält. Ein paar Meter weiter befinden sich eine Apotheke und eine Möglichkeit für Geldwechsel. Auch der Markt für frisches Obst und Gemüse ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Appartement selbst ist wunderschön. Man merkt, dass es gut gepflegt wird! Es ist sauber und ordentlich und die Vermieterin ist jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, wenn es doch mal Fragen gibt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können das Appartement nur weiterempfehlen!"

the shower was a little small for my husband that is a big man, and the water spill out of the shower but I was fine

"The best location, I enjoy every moment I did really feel like I was at home. The owner don't humbug at you at all you don't even know is around. We had a Wi-Fi outage and he a sent digi 3 day plan to all his Tenants.."

Needed more kitchen utensils

"This is my second time staying at Mei Place and it’s been an absolute pleasure. The staff is super sweet, the rooms are cleaned every day. It’s very spacious and has a beautiful garden and rooftop with a pool. There’s even room to store food and drinks in the fridges and depending on which accommodation you book there’s even kitchens that you can use. It’s also located close to nyali center and the beach and a lot of nice restaurants! Well worth the price and I’d always recommend staying here."

"The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious and it is so nice to have a serviced apartment. The location is very good, the train and buses are a 5 minute walk and you are surrounded by restaurants and a supermarket closeby and it is a very short walk to views over the harbour. I would highly recommend this hotel."

A very minor thing, the cups are so small for having a tea or coffee!

On my last sleep of the week I was disturbed by the above resident, moving furniture and banging in the early hours of my departure day. Also just before 3am, being woken up by my TV having it on a different channel to what I had when I turned it off before going to bed believing someone had trespassed into the property and the thought of my belongings being stolen.

"Los habitaciones fueron muy amplias, cuenta con una vista preciosa, y esta ubicado lejos de la bulla del centro, pero cerca de actividades interesantes. Ofrecieron un desayuno que incluia granola hecho en casa."

El servicio de habitacion en cuanto la limpieza puede mejorar.

"Gemütliches Appartement, alles vorhanden, super praktische und einfach zu bedienende Schlüsselbox."

Die Koffer zwei Etagen nach unten und wieder hochtragen. Obwohl es auch toll war von der Terrasse aus gleich nach draußen zu können.

"Un lugar increible, enclavado en un humedal a orillas del Victoria Lake, de gran belleza y donde es posible observar gran variedad de aves. Tranquilo y sosegado para quien ame la paz y la belleza de un entorno ya de por sí relajante. Excepcionalmente atentos los hospedadores, y con un staff muy amable y pendiente de las necesidades de los huéspedes. Habitaciones cómodas y comfortables con estupendas vistas. Agua caliente con buena presión. Algunas de las habitaciones son pintorescas, por un estilo rústico y eco tipo cueva, o estilo observatorios de aves. Piscina. Restaurante, con un desayuno suficientemente variado y completo con mi favorita fruta matinal (10$) y una carta o menú de comidas aceptable en variedad. Mi lugar favorito para futuras estancias en Kampala. Para no perderse la oportunidad de disfrutarlo"

Los ruídos ( temporales) producto de una construcción vecina recién iniciada pueden romper la paz y armonía, si bien permiten un buen descanso en la franja horaria nocturna, y las propias edificaciones del lugar aislan un tanto del sonido de la calle y trabajos de la obra, y en la áreas de naturaleza a disfrutar, no alcanzan a molestar. Algunas de las habitaciones en planta baja (ground) pueden resultar un poco húmedas y frías en temporada de lluvias. Alguna alternativa más en los menus del restaurante serían deseables.
