"Perfect location for visiting petra, the host is a very nice gentleman, he gave us a good tour through the apartment and explained everything necessary. It can be a bit cold in the winter but the portable heaters will make up for that. Its a large place."

That Booking.com is proposing a property which is not available before April 2026. By doing so, I could have ended up on the island of Bequia on a Sunday night with nowhere to sleep.

"On arrival 'Grandad' greeted us with a smile and a cup of 'ginger tea' 😊 The location is peaceful and on the edge of the forest. Only 15mins walking to seven eleven, shops, etc. The room was comfy and clean. Good value too. Bed was super comfy soft to firm! Easy to safely store our bicycles 🚴🚴 A great place to visit and Grandad may also show you around his collection of antiques. HIGHLY recommended 👌"

Nos quedamos sin agua caliente, el 4to día. Esperabamos un resarcimiento. Si bien dijimos que no habia problemas, no era el servicio que habiamos contratado.

He really takes care of his guests in every way and makes sure, you‘re always taken good care of. I can also recommend this place as very safe for solo female travelers. "Very cozy place owned by an incredibly friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was included in the price and it was always absolutely delicious — thanks to them, I had the chance to try several traditional Sri Lankan dishes I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. Thank you once again for such a warm and memorable experience!"

The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.

"La habitación contaba con todas las comodidades, muy buen Internet, heladera, aire, mesita, muy cómoda! Las señoras que trabajan súper amables y dispuestas a brindarte consejos del destino. También tienes acceso a una cocina súper equipada para poder cocinarte . Tiene piscina"

Se encuentra un poco lejos del centro, necesitando moverte en taxi. Los utensilios de cocina no estaban del todo limpios.

"Todo, El alojamiento super limpio, la habitación es amplia, ofrecen dejar las maletas antes del cheking y vine muy bien cuando vas y tienes poco tiempo. Para de transporte al lado. Tienes tiendas de convivencia al lado, como restaurante. El cheking es digital y sin ningún problema. Si tenemos alguna duda el servicio de atención al cliente esta nos ayudo en todo el momento."

"Das Haus war sehr schön dekoriert, voll ausgestattet, sauber. Preis war top für die ganze Ausstattung. Eine Wäscherei war vor Ort vorhanden. Der Check-in lief reibungslos."

Nach der Bitumen mußten wir ungefähr 500m in einer nicht bitumierte Straße. Leider sind nicht alle Straßen in Yaoundé mit Bitumen

"We liked everything! This can not be described by words. One must come and see the exceptionally beautiful nature of Mariovo, this village Zovich and the nearby village Staravina. The accomodation offered everything we needed, the host Mitko, his wife and mother were very friendly and helpful, they make extraordinary food in their restaurant, all fresh and of high quality. We will be back again!"
