the shower was a little small for my husband that is a big man, and the water spill out of the shower but I was fine

El complejo es bonito, ordenado y cómodo pero es verdad que la limpieza no estaba al 100% pero no es algo que nos molestará, simplemente como dato a tener en cuenta.

No está asociado a la oficina de turismo del pueblo, por lo que no te puedes beneficiar de los descuentos que ofrece la tarjeta de turismo, como por ejemplo los parking gratis ( la tarifa normal es de 3€ / hora)

As I have a problem with a leg I wrote the owners beforehand to be assured that access to the apartment was easy and was informed that it was, however, when we arrived it turned out that we first had to access one building and take a lift four floors and then walk a bit to access the building with the apartment. It should also be mentioned that there was a problem with the lock on the door leading out to the street, and it was often difficult to open from the outside. For the first three nights we were assigned an other apartment one floor below that was not up to standard at all. We were, however granted a discount for the inconvenience. We had not been informed about this beforehand. The television in the apartment did not work, and was not fixed during our stay. The apartment was on the eight floor and there was no sign for emergency exit on the floor. The owners lived in Italy and all contact with them was through the young lady representing them in Mindelo.

The location is superb: close to the beach and right by the marine reserve, which made for some of the best snorkelling we experienced. A fantastic spot for a relaxed family stay."

Bulsa, Elsa y Elbert fueron sumamente atentos con nosotros. Extendimos una noche más de tanto que nos gustó el lugar y el trato. Tambien tienen varios restaurantes y supermercados cuando sales de la habitación que puedes ir caminando. Tienen variedad de tours que tambien te ofrecen."

Debería tener rampas para el ingreso con equipaje. Son varios tramos de escalera. Según nos dijeron, hay un acceso con rampa, pero no nos dieron la llave para ese acceso.

From day 1 the ceramic cook top on the stove did not work.They sent a man to look at it, he could not get it to work.Nothing was done to try and fix it for the 7 days we were there.. No sharp knife to cut meat etc.no can opener. No hair conditioner. No phone to call reception, we were on the 9th floor. Had to keep going up and down to see them for anything you needed. No came to clean our room or even change our towels for the 7 days we were there.We had to go down to reception to request clean towels.Then they insisted we brought the used ones to them 1st, before giving us clean ones.But this shocked us the most, they said if we wanted .more clean ones later in the week, we had to PAY for them. The washing machine did not work properly. The TV did not work, had to get someone up to reprogram it. Neither coffee or tea was provided. But they had a coffee machine in the lobby,BUT that did not work either for the 7 days we were there. They said they had a small shop to sell essentials. But it was hardly ever open, we it was it had next to nothing in it. They have a roof top swimming pool, which trying to getvin and out of was really dangerous. The bars you held onto were not fixed properly with screws to hold it in place missing. The top step was missing altogether, when we tried to get in , not realizing the top step was not there I slipped down to the second step missing it going between it and the wall getting stuck, my wife still not in the pool and a man in the pool has to help me out, really scary and dangerous. I told reception about it , they apologized saying they would send a maintenance man to look at it.But like everything else they said they would fix, NOTHING was done for the 7 days we were there, consequently we did not use the pool again. The water in the taps and shower were far far too hot , scalding hot 🔥, very dangerous.

A bit off the beaten path - we were aware of it and it didn't bother us, but be prepared for 1 km or so of dirt road until you get there.

"Excellent no complains great value for the price the nightly rates do not do justice to te quality clean spacious room full size kitchen and bathroom. If you are traveling on a budget I highly recommend this place. I'll be staying there next time. Very quiet also. AC also available and good quality WIFI."

"The property was charming, obviously an example of a typical village dwelling. It was very convenient to have a laundry on the premises that we could use as necessary."

Nos llevó al centro en su cuatriciclo y estuvo atenta a todo lo que necesitábamos. El alojamiento es muy hermoso si te gusta estar en medio de la naturaleza y con poco ruido. Lleno de pájaros y plantas. Rústico pero muy cómodo y agradable. Estaba limpio y había agua caliente. Caminando podés llegar en 15' al centro y 30' a la playa pública. Nos encantó la ubicación porque está alejada de la calle principal que es muy ruidosa"

"Nice lively neighborghood, plenty of bars and food option nearby. The main sights are in a walking distance or a short drive by a taxi or bike. Nice staff. You can exchange euros at a good rate. View from the window"

"Comfortable and very clean cottage, set in beautiful tropical gardens in a very quiet location around 5 minutes from downtown. Easy to hire a car at a reasonable rate from the hosts. Great pick up and drop off. Very nice pool."

The bathroom is tiny and the shower fitting is loose with limited water flow. But these things did not detract from a great stay.

"Ha sido, con diferencia, lo mejor de Honiara, Ellicia y su familia ha cuidado cada detalle de los días que pasamos en su cómoda casa, en principio fueron dos, pero un tuvimos problemas con el vuelo, que ellos intentaron por todos los medios ayudarnos a resolver, al final tuvimos que quedarnos 6 dias más, entonces nos organizaron con una agencia de viajes para irnos a bahía Roderick, que fue una experiencia increíble, al regreso fue como llegar a casa🩷 Estamos muy agradecidos y recomendamos mucho muchísimo!!! Access Units, todo super limpio, dejan comida que en caso de que no quieras salir, puedes prepararte y hasta te lavan la ropa, esto para nosotros fue super porque llevamos1 mes viajando y todavíanos quedan dos!!! Que más se puede pedir!!"

"The comfort, accessibility and ease of the accommodation."

On my last sleep of the week I was disturbed by the above resident, moving furniture and banging in the early hours of my departure day. Also just before 3am, being woken up by my TV having it on a different channel to what I had when I turned it off before going to bed believing someone had trespassed into the property and the thought of my belongings being stolen.

"Los habitaciones fueron muy amplias, cuenta con una vista preciosa, y esta ubicado lejos de la bulla del centro, pero cerca de actividades interesantes. Ofrecieron un desayuno que incluia granola hecho en casa."

El servicio de habitacion en cuanto la limpieza puede mejorar.

"El apartamento es muy agradable. Está a un paso de la playa y muy cerca de la medina. Hay restaurantes y varias tiendas en la misma manzana. La zona es muy tranquila y silenciosa por la noche. Naima es muy agradable."

Las indicaciones para llegar al apartamento no son muy claras. La mejor referencia para llegar es seguir las indicaciones para llegar al restaurante Gusto Italia. El apartamento está justo al lado.

We did not rent a car. We used M&M taxi while we were there. Awesome service. We also ate at Miss B. Another spot on the beach front. We enjoyed our time. Thank you. We were a party of three. Wifi was able to handle all your streaming needs."

No complaints. All was well.

"Great view from the terrace, comfortable queen size bed, quiet area. The kitchen is small but has all equipment. The shower pressure is low bit low. Owners are responding on the spot and live just the house above! Any problem, they respond rapidly."
