Por ahí tener un colcha de verano o similar. Y que el baño tenga cortina a fin de que no se moje todo al bañarse. Igual todo correcto.

"I really enjoyed my stay here - the hotel is like an oasis of calm in Bissau. Staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful - special thanks to Mariama who very kindly went above and beyond her duties to accompany me to the market so I wasn't alone. Good buffet breakfast, clean swimming pool, lovely gardens, spacious rooms. I felt very safe here as a solo female too."

"The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are clean and spacey. The bed is very comfortable and the internet is fast. The staff is very friendly and also gives tips for sightseeing tours. Breakfast is also available around noon. The quality-price relation is very good for this hotel. "A lovely place to stay if you are looking for a little paradise, which is peaceful and calm and still close by all facilites you need. There are complimentary kayaks and snorkelling gear and there is a lovely pool area. The owner Harry and the housekeeper Karen were really amazing and very friendly. There are a few restaurants near by and so is the bus station or rental places where you can hire a car or motorbike."

The only thing I would mention that could be improved in the future is to install an AC. For me the STRONG ventilator was enough as I have no problems with heat and humidity.

The area is absolutely manic, the actual car park entrance was difficult to find, bar very limited, staff on bar seemed disinterested until we paid the bill and gave a tip which cheered her up.

"Absolutamente todo. El concepto del hotel es “usted no se preocupe de nada, solo debe descansar y divertirse”, y todo lo que hace falta para conseguirlo es de lo que ellos se encargan. Sería interminable enumerar la lista de detalles de calidad y buen gusto de todo el personal del Penha Longa, siendo prácticamente imposible destacar a alguno de ellos, pero tengo que resaltar la labor de Carlos Gómez, de Magdalena en recepción, de su encargada,…en resumen, de todo el personal de cada una de las distintas y variadas estancias de este espléndido hotel, ubicado en un marco incomparable, en el que decenas de personas se afanan cada minuto del día para hacerte sentir como en casa, con resultado claramente positivo en nuestro caso. Gracias."

Le hace falta una renovación, las instalaciones están anticuadas aunque mantiene ese encanto colonial.

Se podría mejorar desayuno alternando algunos días con otras variantes. Nos quedamos 6 días y desayunar siempre lo mismo es poco aburrido. Las fotos de la web debieran mejorarlas el lugar expresa más que ellas

I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and had breakfast every day. After the first 2 days, I realized that one could order eggs or omelet. Which was fine but why didn't they tell me at the beginning? Fruit selection was good. Coffee was also good. the wam milk for coffee was frequently empty but refilled on request."

"He viajado con silla de ruedas y el baño la verdad que no tenía ninguna habitación con baño adaptado para silla de ruedas pero el personal nos ha ayudado en todo lo que hemos necesitado, ha sido muy atento y amable! Muchas gracias 🙏"

Desayuno algo escaso a pesar de ofrecer tortillas y crepes en el momento. A menudo abrían más tarde de las 7:30, lo cual podría afectar al orden del día. No pudimos disfrutar del jacuzzi porque no funcionaba.
