"The room was great and very spacious. The homeowner is super nice and easy to talk to."

The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.

"La estancia fue muy agradable. El alojamiento era muy confortable, limpio y acogedor. Me sentí muy cómodo/a durante toda la estancia."

En general todo estuvo muy bien; quizá la terraza podría mejorar un poco en cuanto a mantenimiento.

"A estadia na Casa Graciosa foi a cereja no topo do bolo do nosso passeio a Cabo Verde. A a casa é moderna, imenso espaço, muito limpa e aconchegante. Além disso tem uma vista incrível pra ilha do fogo e para o mar. Os nossos anfitriões César e Ana sempre disponíveis para tudo o que precisamos. Pequeno almoço bom, a Ana é uma ótima cozinheira. Muito obrigada César e Ana pela simpática e boa maneira como nos receberam, fizeram-nos sentir em casa. Um abraço, Camila e Rodrigo."

Nothing really everything was on point

"Muy buena ubicación, las zonas comunes son muy agradables y frescas. Personal amable."

Pese a tener ventilador (que hacía ruido), hacía muchísimo calor en la habitación, especialmente a primera hora de la noche. Se estaba bien por la mañana. Estuvimos bien pero necesita un poco de mantenimiento.

"Buena ubicación, muy cerca de la parada del bus que va al aeropuerto. En el mismo edificio hay un local donde te guardan las maletas por unos 5€ al día. El aire acondicionado funciona muy bien."

"Buena ubicación al lado del aeropuerto (8 min en coche) si tu vuelo, como fue nuestro caso, sale temprano. La habitación es básica, y las zonas comunes de la cocina está muy bien equipada."

La habitación necesita un poco de mantenimiento, tanto en pintura como en muebles.

"Provides every necessities like toiletries, towels and even wifi. They even provide free breakfast, some free snacks teas and coffees. Really convenient. Parking is provided as well."

A bit far from the city

"Very clean, cozy and charming spot. Very glad I chose to stay here and I would be happy to book here again!"

Ich persönlich bin kein Freund von Gemeinschaftsbad und -küche (war aber unmissverständlich so deklariert ;-) ).

"Super kind and helpful hosts (speak Spanish, English and French). Very big and well equipped rooms, hammocks and comfy seats to relax in the tropical garden, with various plants and trees... A restaurant just next door and a supermarket in short walking distance... only 15min to the airport... Very comfy bed and warm water shower... Would highly recommend this place!"

"Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."

I liked it all!

"This is an excellent small guesthouse and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area is very quiet and Bahir Dar is one of the most beautiful cities in Africa. The hosts, Ashenafi and Habtamu, showed us around and made us feel very welcome."

This is a new guesthouse and they are still getting all the facitilties that a western tourist would expect, but everything important was there including shower, cooking facilities, chairs and tables in the patio and a barbeque!

"Sin lugar a dudas lo mejor del Riad es Karima. Muy atenta en todo momento. Nos aconsejó, nos reservó un hamman, nos indicó donde hacer compras...una maravilla de persona, nos hizo sentir como en casa. Nos recibió con un té. El desayuno muy bueno y abundante. Volveremos a ir sin lugar a dudas"

El laberinto hasta el Riad. Hay que llegar hasta la calle Derb Snan y una vez allí seguir las flechas blancas.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

No se puede hacer el check-in hasta las 5 de la tarde. La habitación de matrimonio tenía el baño separado en el pasillo y no había casi presión de agua.

"Chez Fabien on n'a pas l'impression d'être des locataires, mais des amis accueillis à bas ouverts. Fabien veille à tout, à la propreté, au bien être. Il conseille sur les promenades à faire, sur les choses à faire et à voir."

Tout était vraiment parfait. Si nous devons repartir en Guyane nous savons où aller.
