Más distancia de la que esperaba a Amboseli. Las instalaciones están bien pero son muy básicas para el precio que se pide. Acceso imposible sin 4x4, y ni siquiera creo que lo sea en época de lluvias

"We chose buellsPort as the first stop on our Namibia round trip and really enjoyed it. We didn’t expect too much but really loved the food. Both nights we got served a multi-course home cooked meal utilising game meat and local vegetables. The private hiking paths are really well maintained and set in a beautiful landscape. We also enjoyed the drive towards sossusvlei from buellsport which is in much better condition than the standard tourist route."

"De gastvrouw was echt heel fijn. Super ontvangst. Het huisje was helemaal top. Het was een nieuw huisje dus het was helemaal top. Het is nog een domein in opbouw dus wij waren helemaal alleen. Super fijn. Het uitzicht was heel mooi."

Er lag veel rommel in de bungalow die niet noodzakelijk was. Die spullen zorgde voor een rommelige indruk. Ook het eten van de vorige bewoners hoeven niet. Een basis van peper, zout en olie zijn prima. Maar zakken chips, halve flessen wijn,...maken het wat vies. Maar helemaal een prima verblijf.

"In our journey around Issyk-Kul, here we had the best beds/mattresses and here we could sleep in a dark room when closing the curtains. We also enjoyed the proximity of the lake. We had dinner at Uigur restaurant at the main road (highly recommended). The owner was extremely helpful with everything we need."

"The camp is very luxurious, big and clean tent, the set up is spectacular, the dunes are just in front of the camp. We were a family with a small kid and the place was very accommodating, the staff very nice. We have been served with so much food! The driver who takes you for tours in a 4x4 are very very nice , and the tours are really worthy!"

"Coversada offers the peace and quiet we've learned to expect during our previous stays. I see the complex is continuously changing, conducting regular repairs, developing new areas. The camping part has received some new washing rooms, new and well appointed grill corners, and new pitches. The management is taking steps to solve the problem with patchy WiFi coverage, which is nice."

I was sad to see that pizzeria "Balun" is closed. It's also frustrating that a substantial part of the camping area is turned into a "textile" area. A big, ugly separating wall has been put up, described in Google Maps as a tourist attraction. I hope this is a joke. The textile part is two-thirds empty, while the part left for naturists is crammed. I really don't see the logic of this, after all, Coversada was conceived as a naturist resort and famous for it. And now the naturist part is beginning to feel like an internment camp.

"El hotel está situado en pleno desierto, y la ubicación es, sin duda, uno de sus puntos fuertes. Despertar rodeados de dunas y silencio absoluto ha sido una experiencia diferente y muy recomendable. La habitación donde dormimos era cómoda, amplia y bien climatizada —algo esencial teniendo en cuenta el calor exterior—, aunque la decoración podría actualizarse para estar a la altura del entorno. La comida nos sorprendió para bien: platos sencillos, pero bien elaborados, raciones generosas y productos con sabor. No es cocina gourmet, pero cumple y se agradece después de un día de excursiones. La atención del encargado fue de lo mejor. Fue cercano, pendiente de todo y resolvió rápido cualquier duda. Aun así, se nota que se apoyan demasiado en una sola persona; en horas de más movimiento sería necesario más personal para que la atención no dependa de un único encargado. Muy recomendable el paseo en camello 🐫 Mukassa hace que todo sea maravilloso!!!graciass!!!"

La actividad en jeep fue, sinceramente, la parte más decepcionante de la experiencia. El paisaje merece la pena, pero el guía parecía estar haciendo lo mínimo imprescindible. No explicaba nada, no mostraba interés y gran parte del tiempo lo pasó tumbado o hablando por teléfono. Al final, más que un tour, fue simplemente un trayecto en coche por el desierto. Una actividad así puede ser espectacular si el guía se implica, cuenta curiosidades del lugar o simplemente acompaña con algo de actitud. No fue el caso, y es una pena, porque el entorno tiene muchísimo potencial. Si mejoran la profesionalidad y la implicación del personal, seguramente la experiencia cambiaría por completo.
