Not a didn’t like but consider one restaurant ‘Tet Rouge’ open a short walk away. Hire car a must for getting about.

"Es un Bed and Breakfast a cinco minutos en coche de Kuressaare, pero en un lugar campestre y absolutamente tranquilo. Con estilo rural y un amplio jardín con frutales,, aunque se llame "granja" no tiene actividades de granja. Buen desayuno,, con bastantes productos de elaboración propia. Dispone de lavadora, por 7 euros el lavado. Habitación muy amplia (en nuestro caso era la Habitación 1, no sé cómo son las demás). Propietarios muy amables."

La habitación 1 no dispone de cortinas opacas ni nada que tape la luz, tanto del exterior como del pasillo. Mosquiteras en las ventanas un poco descuidadas, igual que alguna ventana. Colchones duros. Baño muy pequeño (sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el enorme tamaño de la habitación).

"The location is beautiful as there is a view on both the mountains and the sea. It is not walking distance to Jiufen which is a good thing because it's too busy there and I rather drive a few minutes for a visit and then back to some peace and quiet. The couple that owns and runs the hotel are very nice and helpful. We loved the traditional Chinese breakfast sitting outside the hotel looking at this amazing view"

"Location in quiet area but still very close to the city center with many shops 24/7 nearby. Nice & comfy bedroom with AC and refrigerator- especially important in August :-). Additional benefit was the balcony, but the view was not spectacular. Breakfasts were very tasty and the view from dining room was very nice (8th floor)."

Just minor disadvantages: no power sockets available for charging in the bedroom, cash payment only. No hooks in the bathroom and towels I think shall be replaced after each 2-3 days.

"The host Greg answered all of our questions and was always available for help! The bedrooms are fair sized and all with bathrooms which is fantastic. The house has many great amenities."

Communal seating arrangements could be better / cosier, as well as outside space would be amazing with a terrace! Sauna had limited hours that we can't control, but is what is!

"Lovely, comfortable, big appartment and view over Texel Airfield / Skydive Drop-Zone. We chose it as our son skydives and we had family doing tandems. Its a good base for the whole island and an interesting place to be but if you want to walk to restaurants in the evening better to be in De Koog or Den Burg. For our purpose it was great. Our skydiver even managed to get a early jump in before the Texel Half Marathon he was running! The price is right for the quality of appartment but Texel is generally dear."

There was a window open in the bathroom which we had not spotted and the appartment was full of mosquitos which was odd given we are end of September. The freezer door was jammed with ice.

El baño social no funcionaba, y es el baño compartido en la planta social. Dado el costo de la propiedad esto no debería pasar. No nos realizaron ninguna atención dado el inconveniente.

"Just an amazing place right by the beach. Owner Luca and manager Wally are two of the most generous hosts I have ever met. Our flight was cancelled so we arrived a day late, but Luca deducted that first night. We will certainly be back"

Había una persona en la casa que estaba haciendo pescado al horno, y lo tuvo ahí durante toda la noche y el día siguiente y en la casa olía fatal, se quedó un olor a pescado que no se iba ni aunque abriesemos las ventanas. Entiendo que es una casa compartida, pero en la casa tienen unas normas de cocina que no se estaban cumpliendo.

"Beautiful property atop a hill, with nice views of the surroundings (including a view of the Queen's Palace). Very clean. Elegant decor. Comfortable beds. Access to private swimming pool (competition-length, which is great for serious swimmers), a pool-house equipped with grill, bar, tables, and games (ping pong and foosball), and a private playground for younger children. We ordered 1 meal that was excellent, served in-house by the hosts. The hosts live in a separate unit on the property and they were available whenever we had questions. One of the hosts used to be a competitive swimmer and she gave the children a swim lesson. A relaxing place if you want to get away from the bustle of downtown Tana."

Somewhat difficult to find if you're driving yourself, but that's no fault of the hosts and the isolation does make the property more peaceful. Besides, property access won't be a problem if you ask the hosts to organize transportation for you (either car or motorcycle). There was a water shortage due to a drought at the time of rental, but again that's no fault of the hosts. We just had to be careful about our water consumption and it all worked out just fine. Treat the hosts with respect and they will definitely return the favor (they surprised us with freshly baked bread on our last day!)

La cabaña es adecuada para 3 personas cómodas y no 4 como dice la publicación. Algunos problemitas con el agua que asumo responde a San Pedro en sí.

"Location is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. The property has a small but private garden with sun loungers, etc to use when the sun shines. We had a detached lodge with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, open living, dining and kitchen area downstairs plus downstairs toilet - so the accommodation met our needs nicely. When it got cold the landlord came by and asked if we needed the heating putting on and showed us how to do this, which was thoughtful."

The landlord gave a lot of very exacting instructions on the use of the facilities in the property, which made us a bit nervous about using things incorrectly or potentially breaking anything!

"We had a wonderful week at Les Gites de Robinson. Communication with Carole had been excellent in the weeks prior to our holiday and when we did arrive she was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. The gite is spacious and spotlessly clean and the kitchen has all that is needed to prepare meals. The beds are very comfortable, the showers in both the modern bathrooms are excellent and, although we did not make use of it, the swimming pool is in a lovely garden setting. The gite is conveniently located in a quiet residential area, only about 300m from a well-stocked supermarket and bakery. We would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you for having us, Carole and Gilles!"

"Everything about the space was great, the location is very quiet and next to the ocean. The private dock was an absolute treat. The house was clean and well thought out. Lots of detail was put into the property and we really enjoyed it."

The ants were a problem, but that just happens in Bermuda anyway. We sprayed some bug spray and they died down. The wind was sometimes a problem and some of the outside furniture was not secured. But im assuming this got fixed fairly quickly.

Some issues with power on first day then on-going with water & wifi connection - apart from this, it was a good 5 days.

"The whole team was very friendly and helpful for anything you needed. In particular Darin was such a great support and important in Thailand, she speaks good English. The villas are beautiful, taken care with love and good taste. There is all you need equiped, very useful with even a washing machine. There are great restaurants in a short driving distance. To walk around the lake next to the resort was our daily routine, save and clean."

I would say it is definately beneficial to have either a own car or rent a motorbike. It is possilbe to walk for sure, but the distances to beach, restaurants, 711... were a bid further than expected.
