"The personal attention of the wonderful owner stood out for us. He went out of his way to collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport the next day. He provided us with a fabulous breakfast too - the best we’ve had over our whole trip. We loved meeting him and talking to him."

"Also wäre ich bei Mama zu Besuch, übertrieben viel Frühstück und sehr fürsorglich. Ich bin mit dem Motorrad unterwegs und wurde vor zwei tagen nass und habe mich erkältet. Es gab gleich Medikamente und Tipps! Also wie bei Mama!"

"El lugar es muy bonito, cerca de la playa, la habitación es muy amplia y cómoda, el jardín es bonito, nos recomendaron excursiones geniales por la zona. Todo muy limpio."

En verano durante el día si hace sol hace calor en la habitación, la escalera para subir es muy empinada, hay que tener cuidado con niños pequeños.

"Had an amazing stay at Akunamatata and would highly recommend it. The house was clean and spacious and only a few minutes from the Main Street of Grand Case and the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed while away. The outdoor area was relaxing and the bed very comfortable. Although we were sharing the house with other people it was a perfect place to stay. Thank you to Jamal for being so accommodating!"

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"Cozy little town, quiet and pitoresk. Gasthaus Emmi is located central in the town, but still has a beautiful location with an open field behind. Great garden with swimmingpool, playground for kids, rabbits and hens. Breakfast very good, local products and fresh eggs. Clean rooms."

Not new interior, but original, well taken care of and clean.

"Very friendly and helpful hosts, very sweet of them to call and paid for a taxi for us when we were leaving. They offered us food and presents too. Informed us of good spots to visit too."

"Cuando llegué a Aruba otro alojamiento había cancelado mi reserva. Por los inconvenientes con Venezuela, Courtesy no pensaba recibir personas en la fecha que yo llegué. Pero a pesar de ello, adecuaron el lugar y nos fueron a ver al aeropuerto. Me dieron paz dentro de la angustia que sentía en ese momento al no tener donde quedarme."

"Teniendo en cuenta que Mauritania no es Tailandia, esta hotel familiar es la mejor opción para estar en Nouakchott, bien para uno o para más días. Las habitaciones son tranquilas y prácticas La familia que lo lleva es muy agradable y Samba es siempre diigente y presto a ayudar, lo que lo hace más fácil. Está ubicado a distancia de caminar de la parte central de Nuakchott y a poco tiempo en bus y taxi de los mercados de camellos y de pescado."

No esperes ningún lujo, pero si quieres una experiencia auténticamente Macedonia, este es tu sitio. Lleva de todo, en el pueblo no hay tiendas, ni wifi en la casa.

"Great location 3 minutes walk from the main square, a beautiful cave room and a hotel with a character. Stunning views from the restaurant, very helpful and professional receptionist (Fifi). Breakfast with a wide choice of food."

"Úžasný pan a paní domácí. ❤️ Moc ochotní lidé. Stále k dispozici. Kdybych se vrátila do Ulcinj, určitě bych toto ubytování zvolila znovu. Chybí mi ty naše snídaně na hezké terase. Měli jsme slunný pokojík, na pravé straně, směr k ulici."

Měli jsme to trochu dál od Velké pláže a začátek Velké pláže je přeplněný turisty, tak jsme museli každý den jezdit autem. Ke starému městu také daleko. Ale bylo to blízko k hezké skalnaté části a živé ulici na začátku Velké pláže. V ubytování mne překvapila společná kuchyň, ale nakonec jsme si zvykli a byla možnost poznat i naše sousedy, hehe. 👍🏻

"The place is not a 5-star guest house, and I was pleasantly surprised by the way I was treated. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean, and the facilities were better than some of the hotels I have stayed in across Africa. My bed was even a TV bed — I connected my MP3 player and listened to music through the bed speakers… great experience! The location is excellent, with the airport just a stone’s throw away. The staff even went out to buy takeaway food for me when I requested it, which I really appreciated. I do wish they had WiFi, but I understand they may be keeping their costs down. However, I was given a pre-loaded SIM card to make calls to my family, which was a thoughtful gesture."

"Hotel familiar con pocas habitaciones. Trato muy amable por parte de la dueña. El último día nos teníamos que ir antes de la hora del desayuno y nos dio unos vales para canjearlo en el 7eleven que está justo al lado. Desayuno correcto. Habitación enorme, con grandes ventanales e incluso una pequeña terraza. Cama comodísima. Baño también muy amplio, con ducha y bañera gigante. Muy limpio. Ubicación perfecta en Sun Moon Lake, a 3 minutos andando de la parada de autobús procedente de Taichung. En esa misma parada cogimos el autobús para Alishan."

El único inconveniente es que el baño no tiene puerta, por lo que no hay intimidad.

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful place in Speyside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the gardens, along with the surrounding wildlife, made it even more special. The host was incredibly sweet and friendly, making us feel right at home. The place was spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend this place and would love to return in the future!"

"La anfitriona es muy amable, el espacio está limpio y bien organizado. La cocina compartida es muy agradable y hay lavadora. Pudimos ir y volver en transporte publico al monte Haguro en un mismo día. Hay pequeños restaurantes por la zona y supermercados cerca."

La ciudad no tiene mucho encanto, pero es perfecta para subir al Monte Haguro y al Samo Acuario si viajas en transporte público.
