La persona que nos atendió no era acogedora. Los grifos del baño estaban flojos. El desayuno era de 8 a 10 y a las 10 en punto nos dijo que nos teníamos que ir.

"El lugar es muy bonito, cerca de la playa, la habitación es muy amplia y cómoda, el jardín es bonito, nos recomendaron excursiones geniales por la zona. Todo muy limpio."

En verano durante el día si hace sol hace calor en la habitación, la escalera para subir es muy empinada, hay que tener cuidado con niños pequeños.

"Era cómodo, limpio, tranquilo el hospedaje en sí y el sector también. A pie de la estación de tren me demoré media hora . La habitación tenía buena cama, toallas y todo lo necesario hasta café, leche , té y agua de cortesía"

El check out es demasiado temprano (10:30)

El wifi no llegaba a la habitación exterior, pero si tienes una Sim card puedes prescindir de esto.

"Nice size single room with private bathroom and air-com. Very central both to the old part and the main train station. There was a fridge, a kettle and chai offering and water in the room. I read reviews complaining about lighting which I found sufficient and about duvet and for me was also ok despite being August because of air-con."

The only problem I found was the toilet floor getting get after shower. I have been in some guest houses like this and they offer sandals which saves the problem.

"We had such a lovely time at Nena House with Francoise as a welcoming hostess for our travel group of 4 adults and 6 kids (9-16). Being in touch with Francoise while planning the trip was very pleasant and professional. It was very nice she checked out dinner plans on the day we arrived before hand. The traditional houses are a delight, clean and with mosquito nets. The facilities are basic, and fine. The neighbor bar is nice for some festive vibes and a drink. The food is delicious. Eating breakfast in the garden with the beautiful view on the Rwandan hills is like paradise. Francoise is very kind in informing about local walks and in our case we where lucky enough to be there while there was a yearly harvest festival. She offered to go with us. We will never forget the experience of seeing the ceremony and traditional dancing and meeting some people in the village. If you plan a visit or are traveling through Ruhashia (near Kings Palace) we can highly recommend Nenas house!"

The road towards the accommodation may be a challenge for light weight cars, but -definitely with 4 wheel drives- if you take it easy it is doable and worth it!

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! It's hard to escape noise in this part of the world. There was some very loud music playing at local bars at night. We had to kill a lot of mosquitos

"Cozy little town, quiet and pitoresk. Gasthaus Emmi is located central in the town, but still has a beautiful location with an open field behind. Great garden with swimmingpool, playground for kids, rabbits and hens. Breakfast very good, local products and fresh eggs. Clean rooms."

No filters for the coffee maker. The streets are in bad shape once you drop off the Main Street to get to the house.

"Good location by the sea which is not far from the main street of Palau where you can find restaurants and groceries (less than 10 minutes walking). Huge room and comfy beds. The staff is really friendly and he dropped us off at the airport. No complaints"
