Casas rurales en Filipinas

"Una casa muy especial. Su lejanía y el acceso algo exigente forman parte de su encanto y la convierten en una experiencia verdaderamente rural. Está muy bien cuidada y llena de pequeños detalles que la hacen acogedora. El pueblo conserva un carácter auténtico, cada vez más difícil de encontrar en una zona donde el ladrillo y el cemento se están extendiendo rápidamente. La gente es muy amable, cercana y hospitalaria. La casa está en pleno centro, junto a la mezquita y al punto de agua del pueblo, lo que facilita el contacto con los habitantes y permite vivir el día a día del lugar. Desde allí se puede caminar unos 40 minutos hasta una playa enorme y casi virgen, atravesando campos donde es habitual encontrarse con pastores y rebaños, reforzando la sensación de desconexión total. Muy recomendable para quienes buscan una experiencia auténtica, tranquila y humana, en contacto con la naturaleza y la vida local. Además, la casa permite cocinar y organizar la estancia con total libertad."

En general, todo estuvo muy bien. Como hacía calor durante nuestra estancia, no podemos valorar cómo responde la casa en invierno. Algunas ventanas, especialmente en las habitaciones y los baños, parecen ligeras, y quizá no sabemos si protegerán bien del frío. En cualquier caso, es un detalle menor que no resta valor al conjunto de la experiencia.

My room was somewhat dark. I couldn’t actually see the volcanos but the gorgeous garden made up for it

"Absolutamente todo fue fantástico, desde la acogedora bienvenida de Mariana y los demás huéspedes durante toda nuestra (corta) estancia, a los consejos de excursiones a hacer, las historias personales, las experiencias culturales, la naturaleza de la zona... Esta parte del viaje fue todo un aprendizaje, en todos los sentidos: cultural, social, antropológico, personal... Mariana ha conseguido crear un espacio de relax, de descubrimiento y de aprendizaje que te aleja del turismo de sol y playa para adentrarte en el del acercamiento cultural. Esto es aún más importante y enriquecedor al haber ido con una niña de 7 años. Sin duda, una experiencia a recomendar y, si se puede... ¡a repetir!"

Nada negativo. Si acaso, fuimos muy poco tiempo. De haber sabido mejor el tipo de sitio que era, nos hubiésemos quedado más tiempo en el centro de Mariana. Desde luego, lo merece, sin duda alguna.

"The villa was beautiful with great views and the location is super quiet in the middle of the jungle. If you do not have your own car there is an option of taxis arranged by the hotel staff to take you to town. The staff were amazing, booked all our tours which you will get cheaper than when booking with tour companies and the guides were great. Beds were also super comfortable."

"Location is close to many historical and natural attractions. We took one of the jeep tours on the mountain and were very happy. The kids loved animals - especially the baby piglets. The food was excellent, freshly made from the farm."

"Muy buen lugar! Bien ubicado, limpio y con lo básico, tiene hamacas junto al río que son muy cómodas durante el día. La dueña incluso pasó a recogerme al puerto (bajo pedido)."

Tiene dos edificios: uno junto al río y uno justo detrás así que al momento de reservar debes estar atento a esto, sobretodo si lo que quieres es tener una vista permanente al río. Además, no tiene cocina así que no venden comidas pero hay varios restaurantes muy buenos a pocos metros.

"Excelente alojamiento en un paraje natural excepcional. La casa ,muy limpia, contaba con todo lo necesario. Los anfitriones muy amables y solícitos."

"What an amazing place to stay. the house is beautiful and well decorated. The pool is amazing and made our holiday. The beds were very comfortable. The showers and bath were also very good. Plenty of cooking utensils and glasses and plates etc."

The meter for the air conditioning was a bit annoying but once I'd got enough coins ok.

"Everything. This is on the top of the list of places I need to come back to. The surroundings and the tranquility are bliss for all senses. The small cabin has all the basics. The beds were very comfy - haven’t slept so well for a long time. Having to walk a couple of steps outside to get to the bathroom and to get water added to the nostalgia - this was what cabins were like in my childhood. However, here you get a modern toilet and a shower in a nice warm bathroom. We did not have that luxury. The small museum was very interesting. The host was nice and inviting and he has a lot of knowledge of the past and present in the area. There are possibilities of renting kayaks- and canoes not far from the property. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night this time. But we most certainly will be back to explore the lake and the surroundings."

"La amabilidad de su propietaria, Senda, no solo para ayudarnos en la llegada si no resolviéndonos un problema que nos surgió- llamó al hotel donde habíamos estado previamente alojados para hacernos una cosulta-. De conversación amena y fácil. El entorno en el que está rodeado de naturaleza. Está a unos 7 km de Kairouan. La casa en sí en guapísima y la habitación donde nos quedamos del tamaño de un piso, con un salón precioso. El colchón comodísimo y la paz del entorno favoreció nuestro descanso. El desayuno es de lujo, dulce y salado. Volveríamos a alojarnos sin dudarlo y lo recomendamos encarecidamente."

"Que lugar! No me lo esperaba, las fotos no le hacen justicia ya que es mucho más bonito. Es como entrar en un cuento, tanto el hotel, la habitación, el restaurante y el entorno son idílicos. Podría quedarme a vivir allí, cuando llegué al centro de Yangshuo después de 6 horas de tren + hora y media de autobús a lo que le tenía que sumar el didi para llegar al hotel pensé que me había equivocado al elegir la ubicación por no estar en el pueblo, pero nada más lejos de la realidad, el centro de Yangshuo es ruidoso y caótico, sin embargo la ubicación del hotel es maravillosa, estás justo donde ocurre toda la acción de los paisajes mágicos de Yangshuo. Fue llegar al hotel y enamorarme del lugar."

"Si te gusta la aventura y quieres vivir la experiencia de convivir con una familia humilde autóctona camboyana, es una gran opción, son una familia encantadora que ha estado por nosotros, pero repetando nuesto espacio y nos ha ayudado en todo momento, Familia super agradable en un entorno tranquilo, Pou nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitabamos. Muy atentos, todo limpio y la comida casera deliciosa! Muy recomendable el trekking de dos dias durmiendo en la selva en hamacas y a pocos metros de una cascada impresionante. Increible el baño a primera hora de la mañana mientras te preparan el desayuno. A buen precio, comidas incluidas y con experiencias inolvidables."

Aunque está a 30 minutos andando del centro es un paseo interesante por ver los comercios locales, si no el tuk tuk cuesta 2 dolares.

"La tranquilidad del lugar y lo hermosa que era la casita. La posibilidad de observar tantas especies de aves desde el balcón y la terraza, a demás de la cercanía de una catarata hermosa en otra propiedad a 5 minutos caminando. También me fue posible tomar algunas fotos de las estrellas por lo recluido del lugar. Definitivamente volvería."

No tengo ninguna queja, me pareció excelente. Como decían algunos comentarios, la casa tiene malla en las ventanas, no vidrio, lo que hace que el viento pase por toda la casita, cosa que ya sabía antes de ir, pero yo fui en invierno/época lluviosa y no me pareció nada del otro mundo.

"Service was exceptionally good. We miscommunicated with our driver and he waited at the wrong town. Front desk lady patiently help call for cab drivers. Many cab drivers were not available last min but she never give up helping us to make calls. We love the place, serene n beautiful. We stayed in the balcony room n it’s spacious with a big hot spring tub. My kids had a great time making diy chocolate and feeding fishes at their pond."

"The room we stayed in was very spacious, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the accommodation was clean and modern. There were also a lot of facilities available in the garden, like a grill and outdoor seating, which we did not get to use because of our short stay. Additionally, the owners were very friendly."

It is a little bit away from the town, but that is no problem if you have a car, which you can park for free at the property.

"The place is very nice, downhills there are shops , uphills there are restaurants) Pepper valley is 30 min walk from the hotel. Administator Anastasiya is a very polite lady. And the person appointed for the service of the outside territory is nice as well."

Some of the staff ( not all) are rude. It is connected with their lifestyle and misunderstandings which appear when people ask for some things. Some do not understand that in a room there needs to be evth for eating and drinking even if a person eats out. In the best room of the new building still there is no fridge inside the room. However, the place for it exists as the furniture provided has particular space for it. The communication problems may occur so it is better to negotiate every single detail as the view of the relax may differ.

Se me permitió hacer un cambio de habitación de una grande a una pequeña pero que para mi esposa e hijo fue perfecto.
