"I checked out the room and then in the airport I got the news that my flight was delayed for 5 hours. I came back in the hotel and they allowed me to stay in my room. Thanks for understanding. The hotel doesn't offer food though they recommended the good restaurant nearby. They have a driver to arrange a transfer when necessary. So nice when we were in a rush to the airport!I"

I would recommend to renew towels. They were clean but old.

El alojamiento es cómodo, limpio y muy acogedor, con un jardín precioso. Además, su madre cocina un desayuno muy rico cada mañana, y si avisas con tiempo, pueden prepararte una cena casera abundante y riquísima por un precio razonable. "Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

Las habitaciones tan recargadas de telas no me van muy bien, pero es algo personal.

"La ubicación en la Kasbah, de fácil acceso desde la entrada. El hotel está decorado con todo detalle, elegancia y calidez, y todo el personal es muy amable y agradable. Nos hemos sentido como en casa."

El aparato de AACC/bomba de calor de la habitación olía a humedad. La apagamos y estuvimos sin encenderla las dos noches. Teníamos un radiador en la entrada y fue suficiente para no tener frío.

Le lit est vraiment ferme, mais les 3 logements de notre séjour étaient comme ça donc j'imagine que c'est classique en Guadeloupe.

Difícil de encontrar. Y algún bicho que otro con sus excrementos. Aunque estás en el campo, y cerca de la ciudad.

"La habitación era amplia, con una cama muy cómoda y las instalaciones estaban muy bien y limpias. El desayuno estaba muy bien y completo. Los chicos y chicas trabajadores eran amables y atentos."

El agua en el baño era escasa. Los precios de las cenas eran excesivos. El trato por parte de la responsable no fue del todo agradable pese a ser un grupo grande que le estaba aportando un gran beneficio económico y promocional.

"Great breakfast and I like that it was a la carte. I can't say enough about it nor about the staff. Everyone was very courteous, professional, helpful, and accommodating. I also loved the location, only a few minutes from Palais Sans-Souci and Citadelle."

Bathroom has mouldy smell, so needs to open window for ventilation. The building doesn’t have elevator, so if you have big luggage, it will be an issue to move your luggage.

Su ubicación es inmejorable: a solo 5 minutos a pie se encuentra un excelente restaurante italiano que se come muy bien, un supermercado Spar de gran tamaño con una amplia variedad de productos, cajeros automáticos y diversas tiendas."

Wifi muy inestable, durante varios dias era imposible hacer videollamadas incluso a traves de whatsapp. Por otro lado, vino un grupo de tres familias con niños, que no paraban de gritar y mucho desde las 7:00 am, me soprnedio no tuviera en consiideracion al resto de huespedesy les llamara la atencion, esto empaño un poco mi estancia, porque lo que buscas en un sitio asi es tranquilidad.

"We loved our time at Malcolm Lodge. It was perfectly located on such beautiful grounds. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. Paulette went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and allowed us to have friends over that we hadn't seen in 15 years. We were made to feel very welcome."

"The place is nicely decorated, very tidy and in a quiet safe area but little far from the sea. For people which like waliking like me is ok. Also can rent bike for free. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok and you could also order some food for lunch at a good price. Manja is an excellent cook and prepares local specialties. Internet was mostly ok. The pool was clean and a very relaxing place to spend time."

Sometimes a problem with taxis. Some of them don't know this place. You have to negotiate the price which can be very diffrent. (from 100 to 500 dalasies).
