"The owners were like family and nothing was a problem. They even drove us to the bus station which was some 12 kilometers away."

It was private away from the centre of Vevchani. It felt very homely. We were there in winter and it was great and in summer it would be even better.

Everything has been thought of by the host: iron and board; kettle, cups, bowls, plates, coffee, sugar, creamer; towel rack and prayer mat; hangers in the wardrobe. The shower is marvellous: various shower heads and taps; good shower gel, shampoo and toothpaste provided, shelves for bottles and a rack for hanging towels etc. The basin and mirror are good for shaving."

There was a smell from the drain, but this can be reduced leaving the bathroom fan on. The call to prayer is very close by. The window coverings are pretty, but it would be nice to look out of the front window. The blinds should be enough.

"Location for us was wonderful. Nice views, quiet village, close to a few beautiful hikes. Spacious apartment with a kitchen that had everything you needed (no oven, no foods like salt/sugar/butter/tea/coffee, so bring your own) and a large balcony. Kind host with sweet dog."

For us, it was perfect.

"Peaceful riverside haven with a shaded terrace and deck opposite the cliffside Lycian tombs, which are lit up at night. The perfect place to relax. Close to shops, restaurants, cafes, bars etc. Our obliging host arranged a trip down stream to the beach on the public boat, which picked us up at our landing. On site parking a bonus."
