"There is a kitchen where I was able to prepare my own meals. All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

"Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it."

"Reception staff and outdoor bartenders very lovely. Good and central location, if noise bothers you - request a room on the opposite side to the sea. Nice hot tub and pool which are open till 11pm. Restaurant is pricey but other options within walking distance. Avoid the hotel taxi service if possible, extortionate for no good reason - local taxi services will offer much better. Overall, lovely hotel and definitely the nicest we saw in GT, but do not expect 5 star service for the 5 star price"

"Poor attitude from some of the restaurant staff, remedied by others but did detract from the high level service expected for the price tag. Mixed attitudes from housekeepers one lady in particular was quite rude, a request to return later for the service met with an eye roll. Again, most others, lovely."

"Excellent, and the apartment was very clean. The person who welcomed me was incredibly nice and polite, offering genuinely great hospitality. She really made a positive first impression! I was very satisfied overall and would definitely recommend this apartment and I will stay here again when in Guyana."

"The gate didn't lock, which proved to be a security concern when someone came to my door uninvited on the very first night."
