Punto positivo:

"The location was perfect for my cousin to be able to pick us up on her way to work in Lourdes and drop us off at the train station so we could go off for the day. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of plates, cups, bowls and silverware so you could just put them in the dishwasher and not have to wash the dishes after eating . The upstairs bathroom was remodeled with a new shower. There were raspberry bushes, a peach tree, an apple tree and a pear tree on the property. All had fruit on them and we were able to enjoy that."

Punto negativo:

"The welcome booklet and instructions were only in french. I speak some French and was typing some of it into my translator but got tired of doing that so I am sure we didn't do something we should have. We didn't have Wi-Fi for the first two days because we didn't know we had to turn the wifi box on. Yes, it took us two days to figure that out. We had emailed the owner about it and never got a response. There should have been a better way to communicate with the owner. Some things needed repairs. The leg of one chair was missing its foot so the chair wobbled. The stove ignitor was broken so you had to light the stove with matches, the fridge was placed next to the heating unit so it didn't open all the way. The heating was controlled by the owner and we were cold a few mornings. The place could have been cleaner. I think the booklet offered for the person before you to clean the cottage for the next person. There were plenty of cleaning products but no paper towels, napkins, tissues. The sponge in the kitchen and bathroom were disgusting so I threw those away when we got there. We had to buy, paper products including toilet paper, sponges and dishwasher detergent. There were only 2 very small rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. I would have expected more. I cleaned the cottage and cleaned the mold out of the shower. There was a towel warmer in the upstairs bathroom but we couldn't turn it on. Only the owner could. I'm sure the next guests will appreciate how clean we left the cottage."
