I can't fault anything in this bungalow

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

"Entorno maravilloso para desconectar y estar en contacto con la naturaleza, Laurence es muy amable y atenta, accesible en todo momento. Está muy bien equipado para pasar unos días y disfrutar desde allí de esa zona de la isla."

"Fantastic views of the Matterhorn, plus the town of Zermatt, especially from the bedroom upstairs which means the view is wonderful to look at when you wake up in the morning! Very comfort and cosy refurbished old cabin which has real authenticity. The owners are very friendly and always helpful."

The three flights of stairs to go to the toilet during the night and carting up all our ski gear from the road below.

Everything was great, nothing to complain about

* very poorly equipped kitchen * it was stated that basic hygiene products would be provided - we were only given hand soap * tiny bin for an 8 people property * pillows were very bad * overall a bit run down and could need some renovation (tile in bathroom had fallen off before we even checked in / lamp over dining room table partially broken)

Je kunt niet zo goed de ramen lekker openzetten ivm muggen en vliegen. Een hor zou een oplossing kunnen zijn.

Mejorar un poco la limpieza del sillón de la sala de estar. Pero todo lo demás 10 de 10

no habia papel higienico, ni algunas cosas basicas como jabon o estropajo para limpair los platos.

"The wood house is nice and it also has a private garden with a table. All the location is independent from the main house and it is in the center of the village."

It is not easy to communicate with the owners, English is a bit of a problem... The kitchen space is quite limitated.

Electricity was eratic and generator back up only available for 3 hours per day

"La atención de Daphnee fue excepcional desde el principio, ya que nos ayudó a encontrar la ubicación del alojamiento muy amablemente y fue muy atenta en todo momento, recomendándonos qué zonas visitar de la isla. Además, el alojamiento estaba muy limpio y tenía todo lo que necesitábamos (lavadora, tostadora, tendedor, etc.)."

La única pega es que la ubicación del mapa de booking no coincidía exactamente con la del alojamiento.

The host should have explained how all the property facilities functioned or a set of instructions. We did not know about the water jets or lights of the pool. Slight smell in the room and lots of lizards and flys
