Bed and breakfasts en República Dominicana

"La casa del bosque es un lugar encantador está literalwn en un bosque lleno de enanos y princesas de cuento. Ana María que es quien te recibe te hace creer desde el primer momento que es tu propia casa, la comodidad y disponibilidad del lugar no se puede describir con palabras es inusual. Pero te asusta todo lo que te dejan para desayunar, imposible ni siendo glotón en comerte todo lo que dejan te aseguro que hasta vergüenza te da ver tantas cosas que te dejan a tu disposición. Nos dejaron para Dos días y para Dos personas comida para desayunar 15 días. Por supuesto que ahí quedó pero vale aclarar que son muy generosos. Altamente recomendable"

Lo único que es más complicado en San Marino es la falta de medios de transporte pero sabíamos esto así que fuimos con auto alquilado pero no es fácil todo es montaña, subidas y bajadas hay qué estar muy atentos. Vayan a San Marino vale la pena

"The traditional Cypriot style and the charming little decorations perfectly matched my taste. The small balcony outside the room was so cute and cozy. The homemade meal had a unique flavor I had never experienced before and made me feel healthy. The hosts were very kind and happily explained the village bus schedule and how to get to our destinations. They gave my sister and me an unforgettable memory. "Warm and cozy for the winter. New building, electric keylocs. Cozy bed with clean sheets and towels. My room also featured a hairdryer, although it isn’t mentiones in the amenities."

There were a lot of roaches in the bathroom, quite impressive to still find these in December. I was provided with the access codes 2 hours after the check-in time, although i tries reaching out to them several times (booking, call and text message). They finally replied with the codes only about 20 mins before I got to the place.

"For self catering facilities it is peefect, quiet and have laundry and ao forth included which is reàlly nice... the agent is very reasonable and always there to answer any questions or any concerns... I highly recommend 👌"

If bed mats to be place on both side of the bed and infront the dresser ... but others the property is well equipped.

"We loved the sitting area just outside the room. The poolarea/garden was very beutiful and relaxing! Most staff was great. Good value. Would stay again!"

We didn't get a room by the pool as we had booked. Very slow service at breakfast. Old dusty furniture/kitchen equipment etc in public areas should be taken away for a better experience. The poolbar had very limited assortment.

Entrance is hard to find, I first thought I was in the wrong place.

"Easy access to town in c 10 minutes, quiet location, fabulous mountain views with a great sheltered outside seating area. Shared kitchen, laundry and lounge were ideal, well equipped kitchen with double dishwasher and large fridge capacity. It ran very smoothly but entirely without seeing staff. Wanaka was wonderful and Springs Lodge lived up to its location"

Not much! Second drawer of dishwasher, handle was broken Sitting areas for each room open onto shared area, so some might feel a lack of privacy, and each one has 2 chairs and a table, but only one cushion (ok not a problem but a bit odd).

Host speaks only French and is rather unheplful, however I might got such impression because of language barrier ;)

"Lo cerca que esta todo, tanto la playa como restaurantes ,tiendas, en fin excelente lugar. Anduvimos caminado por muchos lugares y la gente muy amigable y muy respetuosa. El señor Andrae administrador muy atento , servicial y muy buena nota."

"Friendly owner, clean place, comfortable bed, basic kitchen appliances in the room, as well as in the shared kitchen. Nice little outside seating areas. Quiet location, walking distance to the ferry. You can also rent a car from the owner should you need one."

Not much space in the room to move around, the on suite bathroom was a bit uncomfortable (really just a lil plastic box in the room, kinda see thru and if you wanna take a shower, everything gets wet and the room gets humid) so we opted for the shared bathroom in the hallway. The fan in the shared kitchen didn't work and there aren't many plates/bowls etc.

And what was most important for us - also four legged family members accepted with a smile! We absolutely LOVED the individual garden entrance we had to our room, perfect for travelers like us - with kids & dogs. In other reviews people were complaining about the train. While train tracks indeed are behind the building, in the two days spent we did not hear any train… perhaps we slept so well or simply the line is not busy at all. I think we will come back 🙂"

"Essa foi a melhor estadia q ja fiquei em São Paulo, a marli é um amor, seu esposo tbm é super receptivo, o quarto é bem confortável e muito limpo, o banheiro tbm é muito limpo, a casa é aconchegante e familiar, sem falar na localização q é ótima, próximo ao mercado e ao metrô. Fiquei a vontade e me sentindo em casa mesmo,a marli tbm prepara um café da manhã com muito carinho ,eu e meu esposo com certeza voltaremos em outras oportunidades."

Difícil de encontrar. Y algún bicho que otro con sus excrementos. Aunque estás en el campo, y cerca de la ciudad.

"La calidad humana de ese alojamiento merece la pena. Todos son encantadores incluso en hicieron participe en alguna de sus costumbres. Puedes pagar con tarjeta o efectivo y el wifi era bastante estable. Definitivamente el alojamiento merece la pena!"

Puede que la ubicacion sea lo peor, si tienes coche definitivamente este es tu sitio, si no, tendras que coger un taxi para moverte... no hay problema en andar por ahi pero el sol pega muy duro... y puede que si te desvias de las avenidas principales te encuentres algun perro que te ladre un poco. Yo fui un par de veces caminando al centro y no me pasó nada ni sentí ningun peligro..

"We got our room on the ground floor with a nice garden view. There are chairs in front of the room that we can use to enjoy afternoon sun and the garden. Good breakfast, sufficient choices, fresh and tasty. About 10 minutes drive to the nearby beaches, supermarket"

"Me ha encantado el lugar. Estuve solo por una noche porque no había conexión de mi vuelo de regreso a casa. Es un lugar seguro (viajando sola). El cuarto es cómodo, con una buena cama, aire acondicionado, wifi y tele. El desayuno es muy rico con pan hecho en casa, omelet y mermelada, casera también. Queda a dos minutos caminando de una playa donde el mar es un poco bravo, y a 7 minutos en microbus hasta la playa Oisten. El microbús va y viene muy frecuentemente, así que es fácil ir por unas horas a esta playa, que es un sueño. El viaje cuesta 3,5 BBD. La casa está en un lugar seguro, incluso en la noche pude caminar tranquilamente al bar/restaurante y supermercado Buffy's, en la esquina, donde venden comida típica por 25 BBD. El aeropuerto está a 10/5 minutos en taxi. Geri es súper amable, explica todo muy bien, y pues Steve me hizo un omelet delicioso. Recomendado."
