Apartamentos en Omán

"Un apartamento muy mono, todo nuevo, muy bien equipado y con una terraza con vistas muy chulas. Está muy bien ubicado, cerca del aeropuerto, la playa y restaurantes. Vanessa es encantadora y súper maja. Mi vuelo se canceló y llegué muy tarde en el último barco, y tuvo la amabilidad de recogerme ya que iba a ser muy difícil encontrar un taxi."

"Excellent, large clean apartment with huge beds and a cosy sun room. Well equipped and conveniently situated in a quiet friendly village."

The hot water supply took a while to get used to but no issues thereafter.

"Todo. La cabaña era una chiflada y las vistas espectaculares. La cama muy muy cómoda y el baño perfecto. Todo genial."

Si no fuese por el acceso, le habría puesto un 10. La carretera de acceso, en cuesta y estrecha era un poco complicada.

"We loved the view from our eco friendly and very well appointed self contained place - we could see the sea and were surrounded by trees, flowering plants and birds. We liked being a short walk downhill to the village of Castara with grocery shops, places to eat local food and entertainment. Bars on the beach were very friendly. We loved getting a boat to nearby coves and snorkelling. Paradise for us!"

The fairly stiff walk back from the village is fine as long as you don't rush. The Castara Retreats Restaurant serves lovely fresh fish caught locally but wine as you might expect is eye wateringly expensive. Try Stag beer instead and even that is twice as expensive as in the village.

El personal es muy atento, les agradezco mucho todos los datos y ayudas que me brindaron (especialmente a Mas, el chico de la recepción (no se como escribir tu nombre, lo siento). Pude organizar muy bien mi viaje gracias a toda la información que me dieron. Habitación es grande y cómoda, Wifi funciona perfecto y el desayuno es realmente rico y muy variado, con varias opciones locales y también internacionales."

"Private, great view and very comfortable. I stayed an extra night because it was so nice."

A bit of coordination initially to get to the property due to the road, but the owner was wonderful at making it easy, and other taxis had no problem getting there after my initial attempt.

"My stay was great. We got lost due to not having data connectivity in Malawi. Mercy went out of her way after I called her to meet us and pick us up and guide us to the location."

A bit off the beaten path - we were aware of it and it didn't bother us, but be prepared for 1 km or so of dirt road until you get there.

"The place was clean, at a nice location, walk to the beach. The staff was also amazing especially Salum the caretaker who was quick to respond. The owner is also amazing. They also offered recommendations on what's good close by."

Location was far from the main tourist centers in Nungwi and stone town. Suggest getting a car if you are there - lucky we had one. Otherwise great stay!

El servicio de habitacion en cuanto la limpieza puede mejorar.

"I liked that there is a keypad at the door and the code was sent to me before arrival. The location is superb. An amazing ocean view. A quiet place to retreat to at end of day. Highly recommended. I'll be back. The host Petran is easily a 10!! Very kind and accommodating."

Die Koffer zwei Etagen nach unten und wieder hochtragen. Obwohl es auch toll war von der Terrasse aus gleich nach draußen zu können.

"La ubicación en el campo pero a poco andando de la carretera donde tomas el transporte, vas al supermercado o a la playa. Hacía tiempo que no veía tantos gallos, gallinas, etc… en libertad. Es lo que oyes por la mañana."

La lavadora estaba fuera del apartamento en un cuarto minúsculo. Cuando llegas y sales tienes que andar un poco bajo el sol, con calor y demás, a no ser que tengas coche.

Walking around the neighborhood because too many dogs. Though most were chained but their threatening bucks and sometimes meeting unchained ones scared me off. I don’t like dogs!

"They gave us everything we asked for. We needed a small workspace which they didn't have and they provided one in no time."

The guy at reception messed up my check-out. He couldn't find my booking, said I must have done it privately, and even asked me what my room rate was! Then I told him it was on booking.com again and he said fine, you can go, (presumably cos my credit card guaranteed payment?) Then as I was about to go to the airport he called me back and said you still need to pay. But this is a fabulous place. That was just a minor frustration.

The only downside was the lack of basic hygiene items like towels and soap. Overall, a great place to stay!

"La villa súper cómoda y espaciosa con todos los utencilios de cocina que necesitas, la piscina súper limpia y la vista al mar súper hermosa. Las áreas limpias y cuidadas. Bulsa, Elsa y Elbert fueron sumamente atentos con nosotros. Extendimos una noche más de tanto que nos gustó el lugar y el trato. Tambien tienen varios restaurantes y supermercados cuando sales de la habitación que puedes ir caminando. Tienen variedad de tours que tambien te ofrecen."
