"The cleanliness, serene environment and excellent facilities"

Walking around the neighborhood because too many dogs. Though most were chained but their threatening bucks and sometimes meeting unchained ones scared me off. I don’t like dogs!

"Staying at Shangri-la gave us experience in the homey environment. Staffs were very helpful and kind. We put this place as the first choice if we go back to Yangon again. Thank for fulfilling our fond memories."

"Gorgeous view of Treichville. Thoughtful renovations, like a luxury hotel. The kitchenette was adequate and I appreciated the complimentary bottles of water. Hot showers and air conditioning. Great location in the centre of Plateau but note that the neighbourhood is deserted after sunset and on weekends. Still, I felt safe because of the security guards around important buildings."

Only one functioning elevator. Location and elevator can be difficult to find. Check-in instructions could be more descriptive. There are no signs for the apartment suites on the ground floor. The elevator is on the right passage as you walk inside the building. The reception is on the 14th floor.

"The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious and it is so nice to have a serviced apartment. The location is very good, the train and buses are a 5 minute walk and you are surrounded by restaurants and a supermarket closeby and it is a very short walk to views over the harbour. I would highly recommend this hotel."

A very minor thing, the cups are so small for having a tea or coffee!

"Amabilidad de los propietarios. Wifi excelente. Apartamento muy tranquilo. Estuvimos en el último piso, con balcón y vistas preciosas. La zona de juegos es ideal si vas con niños."

No está asociado a la oficina de turismo del pueblo, por lo que no te puedes beneficiar de los descuentos que ofrece la tarjeta de turismo, como por ejemplo los parking gratis ( la tarifa normal es de 3€ / hora)

"We stayed in the apartment A402, I believe their are a number of units rented in the complex. We had underground parking a few steps from the lift. The apartment is spacious with a great terrace with great views, including Mont Blanc in the distance. It was very well kitted out and very comfortable. I felt it was good value for the price we paid."

The beds and bed linen are ok (clean) but could do with an upgrade. The bathroom could also do with an upgrade, remove the bath and put in a shower, and upgrade the lighting, but that is just my opinion. The WiFi is a bit hit and miss, it is been connected through a Netgear Router from the apartment directly above.

"Clean and staff were very friendly. Large room and large bathroom. Enough space to store the clothes."

I used a single room and there were not enough sockets . There were 2 bed side lamps and one didn't have a socket to plug in. I have to put the kettle on the floor. There was an extension wire, where tv,fridge etc were pluged in . Not very professional. More socket points in appropriate places will improve the standards.

Debería tener rampas para el ingreso con equipaje. Son varios tramos de escalera. Según nos dijeron, hay un acceso con rampa, pero no nos dieron la llave para ese acceso.

"La atencion de Jhony fue lo mejor. Nos ayudó con todo, cocinó para nosotros deliciosas langostas, y fue muy atento con nosotros. Las vistas del apartamento son maravillosas"

"Los anfitriones dan un excelente servicio, son muy atentos e intentan ayudar y solucionar en todo lo posible. El staff no habla inglés pero son muy atentos y serviciales e intentar comunicarse de manera efectiva constantemente. La comida del restaurante es de excelente calidad, buenos precios y el restaurante es hermoso. Creemos que es una joya oculta en Moroni."

Al no ser un hotel, sino que es una habitación que alquilan dentro de un establecimiento gastronómico, puede llegar a ser complejo explicar la ubicación a los taxistas si no hablas frances. La ubicación no esta mal, es cerca de la calle principal pero esta un poquito escondido.

Vanessa es encantadora y súper maja. Mi vuelo se canceló y llegué muy tarde en el último barco, y tuvo la amabilidad de recogerme ya que iba a ser muy difícil encontrar un taxi."

"Great view from the terrace, comfortable queen size bed, quiet area. The kitchen is small but has all equipment. The shower pressure is low bit low. Owners are responding on the spot and live just the house above! Any problem, they respond rapidly."

"Milady es una persona encantadora, muy disponible. Nos habló de la isla y de los mejores lugares para visitarla. También nos prestó 4 máscaras para snorkel. Nos llevó al centro en su cuatriciclo y estuvo atenta a todo lo que necesitábamos. El alojamiento es muy hermoso si te gusta estar en medio de la naturaleza y con poco ruido. Lleno de pájaros y plantas. Rústico pero muy cómodo y agradable. Estaba limpio y había agua caliente. Caminando podés llegar en 15' al centro y 30' a la playa pública. Nos encantó la ubicación porque está alejada de la calle principal que es muy ruidosa"

"Very nice space - big, well equiped, quiet, close to the nature."

A bit off the beaten path - we were aware of it and it didn't bother us, but be prepared for 1 km or so of dirt road until you get there.

"There is a kitchen where I was able to prepare my own meals. All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it.
