Apartamentos en Belice

"That the owner responded to my phone call to let me know that the studio is not up for rent yet. By doing so, she saved me a trip to Bequia without à place to stay."

That Booking.com is proposing a property which is not available before April 2026. By doing so, I could have ended up on the island of Bequia on a Sunday night with nowhere to sleep.

"El apartamento esta a unos 10 minutos andando del centro, es acogedor, camas cómodas y aparcamiento en la puerta, pagando unas 12 o 15 libras (no me acuerdo)."

Faltaban utensilios de cocina, todo muy al mínimo, había algo de polvo y los baños muy pequeños.

"Facility was extremely nice, high ceilings with crown molding made it feel bigger than it actually was. Decor was very nice, and there were amenities aplenty. Huge balcony facing the Gulf. It felt like we were staying in our own ready-made home, complete with old Bible with plenty of notes :-)"

Refrigerator was very nice and modern, but the ice machine put out ice with mold on it. We checked the ice tray itself, and the ice was fine, so guessing the dispenser was to blame. The jacuzzi jets, as well, blew out particles of mold, some significant, when engaged. We did not see this in the tub until after the water had been drained. We did not let these factors detract from the overall experience, but, but mold is a pretty major thing that we'd suggest checking more often. Be aware that the check-in instructions you get from your booking agency may not reflect actual conditions/requirements, but this is not a problem with the host.

El personal es muy amable, la anfitriona incluso nos ayudó a encontrar actividades para hacer en Pointe Noire y el personal de seguridad nos apoyaba a encontrar taxi. La atención es excelente. "Very cozy place owned by an incredibly friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was included in the price and it was always absolutely delicious — thanks to them, I had the chance to try several traditional Sri Lankan dishes I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. Thank you once again for such a warm and memorable experience!"

The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.

Steep, winding road up from town. Car access only, almost impossible to walk.

"My sister & I stayed 4 nights here! 😍 We loved that… it was great value for money,… there’s a shop downstairs that opened 7 days till late… The location was awesome, right next to DMC, Vailoa, (the best fried chicken franchise on the island 😋)… the twin room was clean, and spacious with 2 x twin beds, sofa lounge, a balcony with clothes airer, a wardrobe, massive shower with hot water, toiletries & towels, kitchen sink with utilities, Tea/Coffee facilities, Aircon & free WiFi…and… The host, (Teresa), was very friendly & welcoming, always willing & present to help out when needed. 😃"

The only issue, was the accommodation is upstairs and carrying heavy luggage upstairs was a little challenging, otherwise, it was excellent value for money. 👍

"Lovely area, close to a river walk and around 10 minutes walk to the centre of Buncrana. Lidl and Aldi are a 2-minute drive away. The apartment had everything we needed. Very cosy and clean. The host had kindly left us wheaten bread and some milk. A lovely lady ❤️"

Have no complaints.

"Close 5 min drive to beautiful beach and a nice restaurant. Nice drive from main road and calm area. Large rooms and good setup"

No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

There is only one power socket in the sleeping room, and it does not work (well) as the holes are too loose to uphold any charging device. A multi-socket cable connected to a repaired socket would be appreciated. In the kitchenette, there is some coffee and tea provided, much appreciated. Oddly, there is no sugar but salt. Sugar would be more useful than salt.

Las camas no eran muy cómodas. Y el apartamento no estaba muy limpio

"The accommodation was clean and fresh, Location was quiet with plenty of local restaurants, and a few local shops to get basic groceries. We hired a car during our stay which is recommended if you want to further a field as we did ."

There was nothing not to like.

"Los anfitriones dan un excelente servicio, son muy atentos e intentan ayudar y solucionar en todo lo posible. El staff no habla inglés pero son muy atentos y serviciales e intentar comunicarse de manera efectiva constantemente. La comida del restaurante es de excelente calidad, buenos precios y el restaurante es hermoso. Creemos que es una joya oculta en Moroni."

Al no ser un hotel, sino que es una habitación que alquilan dentro de un establecimiento gastronómico, puede llegar a ser complejo explicar la ubicación a los taxistas si no hablas frances. La ubicación no esta mal, es cerca de la calle principal pero esta un poquito escondido.

"Todo, El alojamiento super limpio, la habitación es amplia, ofrecen dejar las maletas antes del cheking y vine muy bien cuando vas y tienes poco tiempo. Para de transporte al lado. Tienes tiendas de convivencia al lado, como restaurante. El cheking es digital y sin ningún problema. Si tenemos alguna duda el servicio de atención al cliente esta nos ayudo en todo el momento."

"Amazing location!! At the heart of The Pearl, right by the beach (private beach) and 5 minutes away from the Gewan Island and Abraj Bay. The host was very quick to respond and to accommodate us, thank you very much!"

Por decir algo, lo de la entrada de la calle, , q estaba bastante abandonado.

"Ha sido, con diferencia, lo mejor de Honiara, Ellicia y su familia ha cuidado cada detalle de los días que pasamos en su cómoda casa, en principio fueron dos, pero un tuvimos problemas con el vuelo, que ellos intentaron por todos los medios ayudarnos a resolver, al final tuvimos que quedarnos 6 dias más, entonces nos organizaron con una agencia de viajes para irnos a bahía Roderick, que fue una experiencia increíble, al regreso fue como llegar a casa🩷 Estamos muy agradecidos y recomendamos mucho muchísimo!!! Access Units, todo super limpio, dejan comida que en caso de que no quieras salir, puedes prepararte y hasta te lavan la ropa, esto para nosotros fue super porque llevamos1 mes viajando y todavíanos quedan dos!!! Que más se puede pedir!!"
