The location is a bit out of the way. Only one shop was nearby. So if you rent, it’s better to have your own means of transportation.

"Location was perfect, in between two resorts for lovely Spa treatments and excellent dining. Hanna was very helpful with our requests, even dropping off a cake tin so I could make a birthday cake. The complimentary treats were a lovely surprise. We will definitely return. Fa'afetai."

"- The location is great with absolutely fantastic snorkelling out the front (felt very safe and I’m not a strong swimmer) - use of Kayaks an added bonus - refreshing to cool off in the pool or relax in a hammock - the villas are clean and user friendly, very comfortable bed, excellent wifi and aircon highly valued -Michael is a champion with a friendly smile, excellent local knowledge and nothing we asked about was a hassle or too much trouble! "Absolutamente todo. Es uno de los lugares más bonitos y donde más a gusto nos hemos encontrado. Linda es adorable y súper atenta, se ocupo de lavar nuestra ropa de manera gratuita, se preocupó de organizar las excursiones y actividades, así como de solicitarnos tuk-tuks cuando lo necesitábamos, de traernos y llevarnos al aeropuerto, proporcionarnos botellas de agua... No sé puede pedir más. Además el resto de su staff es muy agradable y atento. El alojamiento es precioso, muy tranquilo, en primera línea de playa, frente al mar. Los chalets-cabañas son muy bonitos, y permiten tener una gran intimidad. Estamos muy agradecidos de estos días tan bonitos y especiales que pasamos en Vilanculos."

"Good location near city centre (10 min walk). A nice little garden. Wifi and aircon. A very nice and helpful host."

Hard to find. In need of renovation but it seems like it's underway.

"Nice apartment. Clean and the neighbourhood seemed safe. All the amenities worked. The host and staff were readily available. The only issue has nothing to do with the property, the internet says there is a place nearby to get food. The internet is wrong, that place is closed, it.woul be wise to take groceries or food."

"Everything was just beautiful. We had hot weather but it was cool inside and the pool was great. Thé location was close to Normanville for morning swims. We loved the surrounding gardens and eating outside under the grapevines. Everything was good quality and well thought out. It was friendly and relaxing. We loved the personal art and objects collection around the house and the way it was so carefully restored. It was a privilege to be able to stay there with our friends from Sweden who also loved the experience."

There was nothing we didn’t like

"Perfect location with great views of the mountains and river in the beautiful town of Arco. The apartment was nicely decorated in italian style and included a great hot tub bath and a 4k television. The kitchen was reasonably well appointed with an induction hob and a combi oven, and a fridge freezer. There was free parking available in an underground garage, but we were on foot - the pedestrian entrance came out right onto the pretty alleyways in the Arco old town."

The check in details could have been clearer. The keys had to be collected from "Arcoplant", which is a small garden centre a long way from the apartment. We got there on a Sunday, so the garden centre was closed and it was difficult to get in touch with the owner, but they were really friendly and helpful once we found them.

"L'endroit est très propre et décoré avec goût, on se croirait chez soit ! Cette maison est un paradis que ce soit pour les adultes et pour les enfants. Il y a un coin jeux extérieur pour eux, et des jouets ainsi que des équipements loisir (draisienne, ballon rebondissant, etc...) à l'intérieur. Les services proposés sont également de qualité et très intéressants !"
