"Probablemente lo más destacado de este alojamiento es Iskander. Entre otras cosas nos pagó el taxi que estuvo a punto de timarnos, nos acompañó a comprar comida ya entrada la noche, nos recomendó muchos sitios que visitar, se hizo cargo de nuestras maletas después del check-out hasta que nos fuimos de la ciudad y nos dio mucha conversación. Se nota que tiene muy trillado el mundo del turisteo; en cada habitación hay una carpeta con todo tipo de información de Samarcanda: donde comer bien y barato, excursiones extras que organiza el mismo, e incluso ofrecía un curso de comida uzbeca en la casa. En general, fue una experiencia muy distinta a quedarse en un hotel cualquiera. Por lo demás, las habitaciones estaban bien, y el desayuno que nos ofrecieron estaba bastante rico."

"We spent some days here and they accomplished all our demand. We had great welcome and many notable advices about the visit of the city and where/ what to eat in Samarkand. The host speaks really good english and he is a pleasant company, rich in experience and in story to be told. The area where the hotel is located is quiet and it offers many restaurant and amenities. Our flight back was late at night and they allowed us to leave our backpacks in the basement all day long."

"What we really loved was the owner - he was so incredibly kind, caring and genuinely happy to have us. We felt so welcomed and at home. The little garden in the centre of the property is very sweet and the opportunity to use the kitchens and sit outside for meals was wholeheartedly welcomed by us. The family that run this place are so kind and we wish them nothing but the best."

"Our room didn’t have AC which made the stay a little bit hot especially during summer time - we didn’t mind too much though. The beds are also a tiny bit on the harder side but again, nothing detrimental."
