"It was a joy to stay in this immaculate property. A brilliantly redeveloped old house in the quieter part of Selçuk, a 5 minute walk to the main squares and shops of this busy town, we delighted in the peace, the charm and the comfort that Ionia House provided - in abundance. The host, Alison, has created a house that has all the benefits of modern conveniences whilst creating a space that also respects architectural history and craftsmanship. Every detail is so well considered: the kitchen is a cook's delight; the terrace is a gardener's happy place; the outside space provides different areas to enjoy across the day. We loved Ephesus and all the surrounding classical sites (the trip to Aphrodisia was very worthwhile) and this property was most definitely part of our very happy time spent in such a special part of Turkey."

"The size of the room was good, everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, aircon worked well and there was a balcony to the back side. With the windows and doors closed, it wasn't too loud, however I use to wear earplugs anyway when staying in hotels. The breakfast buffet was nothing special, but sufficient. There are countless small shops, eateries and a supermarket right around the hotel and it's only a few minutes walk to the beach promenade. The value for the money was really good and I ended up staying four days instead of the one planned, because the town and the surroundings were so pleasantly nice and laid back."

A special mention must go to the breakfast, which was excellent with a great variety of hot and cold options to start the day right. The location was another major plus. With easy access to main roads, it was the perfect base for exploring the area without being in a noisy city center. We had no complaints and will certainly be choosing this hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended!"
