"It's a really nice location served by public transport (though not that frequently) to get away from Umea city. There were a small number of nice trails for easy and medium hikes. Breakfast prepared in baskets were lovely and I liked that you could choose, mix and match what you wanted each day. The cabin was great, fairly compact but had everything you need and a great view of the river. The wood burner sauna was great way to spend an afternoon though it was a shame the water was already freezing over so we couldn't cold plunge! Definitely seems like there is more to do in the Summer months, though we enjoyed the snowy landscape. 2 nights was the perfect amount for November for a little walking and sauna maybe. Bakery across the road is delightful as well. Lunch and dinner service also great though dinner is quite expensive! Staff were very nice."

"We rented one of the cabins. It was well renovated, clean and comfortable. Very friendly and welcoming staff, beautifully located on the island in the river. Their restaurant is fantastic, classy menu, great food and wines. It was a very relaxing stay."

"very warm cabin with small well equipped kitchen. Buffet breakfast was included. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"I felt the price to use the hot tub and sauna was very expensive as it was not for exclusive use. The snowmobile safari was also expensive compared to ones we have done elsewhere in Sweden. However it was great fun with a very friendly guide."

"It is convenient to go there from Umea by public bus. Also, cross-country ski equipment and snowshoes are available to rent so as to enjoy the beautiful environment."
