"The staff was incredible! Sandra and everyone else was so helpful and thoughtful, they made our stay very memorable. The room was amazing, with hot water bottles and a cozy fire at night. The food was some of the best I've had at any hotel - do plan to have dinner there! They even cleaner our hiking shoes after our trek to see the gorillas. Can't say enough good things about Kinigi Cottage!"

"Once you're at the cottage, you're pretty much stuck there. Not that it's a bad thing - it's a beautiful location and very relaxing and has everything you need. But you can't really just walk to a little shop or restaurant or something like that. Again, this was fine for us. There was a lot of noise from construction next door, but that is not the fault of Kinigi Cottage!"

"The water isolation of the building is not perfect. Of course, it's difficult to manage all with the powerful local storms, but I woke up to find that part of the room was "flooded" due to water coming in from the terrace window/ceiling. Not a big problem, but if the leak had been closer to the bed it would have been one!"

"This place is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed, with spacious and very comfortable rooms. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was generous and absolutely delicious, and we were also offered dinner, which was fantastic as well. The atmosphere of the place is truly special, peaceful, and warm, and the views over the mountains are simply stunning. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Rwanda, and I truly hope I will have the chance to stay here again in the future."

"Eric their driver was really the highlight of our whole trip, apart from the mountain gorillas! He took us from and to Kigali airport as well as the trek. He gave us a full education on Rwanda and is the most wonderful ambassador for his country. The breakfast and Felicity serving it were exceptional. The fireplace in the room, hot water bottle, massage, sauna, all brilliant."

"I absolutely adored it here. The place is gorgeous and the interior design and attention to detail is outstanding. I had a fireplace in my room and could have it lit whenever I liked. I extended my stay because the experience was just so good. The food is fantastic, especially the breakfast. Special thanks to the staff member, I forget his name but I was told he’s been there for 4 months. He was exceptional and so polite, attentive and friendly. He went out of his way for anything I asked. All the staff were amazing. To the person who left (the only) bad review just before me and complained about literally everything, I think some people are miserable will just find things to moan about. Because everything they said I cannot agree with at all. There’s just no pleasing some people, even in a place as wonderful as Kinigi Cottage."
