"I recently spent a night at Akagera Able Lodge and had a wonderful experience. I had read reviews mentioning solar power and power banks, which initially worried me, but after speaking with Assia, I was assured that the lodge now has full electricity—no more power banks needed, fixed WiFi, and hot water. The lodge is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, serving delicious food, including an amazing breakfast that truly made my stay special. I also appreciated that they organize tours to Akagera National Park and provide pick-up and drop-off services from Kigali. I highly recommend Akagera Able Lodge and look forward to returning soon!"

"It is situated closely to the national park entrance. With regard to the location, the object has solar energy. To charge your devices overnight, your host will provide you with a batterypack. The host is very nice and attentive. Breakfast according to the menu is served at the agreed time directly to the room. Parking is spacious and behind the gate of the property."

"Die Herberge befindet sich ca. 8 km vom Akagerapark-Eingang und 150 m oberhalb der Straße zum Akagera-Park, man muss einen Lehmweg hoch, vorbei an einigen Lehmziegelhütten. Das Zimmer war sehr einfach, aber zweckmäßig und mit Moskitonetz, das man nachts unbedingt verwenden sollte. 200 m die Straße runter ist ein weitaus teueres Hotel, da kann man wunderbar zu Abend essen!"

"Weder das Wasser im Mini-Waschbecken noch das Licht im Bad funktionierten. Ach nicht nach meinem Besuch in Akagera-Tierpark, obwohl zugesichert. Dem Zimmer fehlen ein paar Wandhaken, Ablagen Ich habe dann einfach eine Gartenbank ins Zimmer gestellt. Den Zimmerpreis finde ich zu hoch, aber liegt wohl an der Nähe zum Akagera-Park."

"Très bon accueil par Ernest, sympathique arrangeant et professionnel. Les chambres sont grandes, propres, confortables, et l’hôte est prêt a répondre à tout besoin. À 5min de voiture de l’entrée sud du parc Akagera. Électricité solaire et eau de récupération de pluie, donc en quantités limitées mais pas dérangeant. Rapport qualité prix imbattable."

"Mycket trevlig personal som var lyhörd till våra önskemål! Ligger ca 5 minuter från södra ingången till nationalparken Akagera. Mycket prisvärt alternativ om man vill bo utanför parken. Tyst på natten."

"Une bonne adresse, petite construction de décembre 2024 encore en progression. Au grand calme, face à un grand jardin, devant la route qui mène à l'entrée sud du parc. C'est vraiment pratique. Belle chambre attenante à un petit salon et terrasse pour boire un verre et prendre le bon petit déjeuner. Tarif très avantageux. Personnel efficace et sympathique. La jeune propriétaire travaille au parc et va encore améliorer cette nouvelle structure. Bravo ! Belle initiative locale à encourager."

"Ne pas s'attendre à une douche puissante, le logement est dans un village de fermiers qui n'ont pas l'eau courante. Formidable personnel qui vous apporte sur demande des bidons d'eau chaude pour les touristes habitués à leur confort luxueux. L'électricité n'est pas fournie dans le voisinage, elle est rare et coûteuse. L'établissement est relié au réseau. Si besoin, on vous prête des chargeurs pour vos appareils."
