"The villa had great privacy, beautiful landscaping, a good layout for our group. It was well-equipped with essentials for cooking/serving. The salt pool was perfect for cooling off after a hike. It was just big enough and always seemed to be at the right temperature. We were delighted by fireflies, tree frogs, bats, local birds, and even a shy ginger cat that wandered past once or twice."

THE ROAD- while we expected a rough access road from reading previous reviews, the construction during our stay detoured us through the banana plantation over an intolerably (for anyone with neck/back problems) rough track that was 4x longer. While the ocean (not a swimming beach) is close enough to hear, there is not much view. It is a peek from one corner of the pool deck, and the upper bedroom. But again, wonderful privacy. Also of note- there are no bug screens on the windows. It was perhaps an assumption on our part with the newer construction, but the mosquitoes did cause some distress, especially for one member of our group. Bring bug spray, After-Bite (anti-itch), and Benadryl if you are prone to reactions.

Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.

"Es un hotel all inclusive con menos lujo y servicios comparados con los de Dominicana, México, etcétera. El personal se esfuerza mucho por complacerme al huésped pero no tienen muchos recursos. La comida bien, sobre todo en los restaurantes temáticos. Hay una buena piscina con bar. Siempre hay disponibilidad de sombrillas, camastros y toallas en la piscina y en la playa. La limpieza en general es muy buena. La playa es excelente con arena blanca sin olas y con peces que te rodean. Hay un servicio de entretenimientos a toda hora y alquiler gratuito de kajak snorkel y otros en la playa El paisaje de la isla es imponente y lo que más me atrajo de todo fue la playa y el mar turquesa. Muy buena experiencia sin ser un 5 estrellas Pudimos hacer excursiones para disfrutar de la tranquilidad de diferentes playas con arena blanca, el color turquesa del mar y la trasparencia del agua, la visualización de peces, tortugas y corales."

La bebidas alcohólicas son de categoría standard, podrían mejorarlas No hay servicio a los cuartos ni para desayunos Estábamos cenando en el restaurante de Sushi (que nos hicieron esperar 30/40 minutos pasado el turno) y cuando pedimos una segunda tanda nos informan que la cocina había cerrado y no pudimos terminar de cenar.

"El servicio y la atención son impecables. Queremos destacar especialmente a Alexandra en recepción, Thais en el Sandbar y Juan en el desayuno por su amabilidad y profesionalidad. Todo está cuidadosamente pensado para que disfrutes al máximo de tu estancia. Una experiencia inolvidable."

Lo único que nos gustó menos fue la comida, adaptada al paladar americano, y el sistema de propinas, muy al estilo estadounidense, presente en casi todos los servicios, lo que puede chocar un poco a quienes somos europeos.

"The villa setup gives real privacy and calm, and the resort layout on the hillside feels like a Mediterranean-style village. You use the resort shuttle to get around, but it’s easy and well organised. All-inclusive was genuinely excellent, especially the cocktails. We tried two restaurants and the steak restaurant (The Deck) was a standout. Staff were exceptional: warm, relaxed and genuinely helpful. They also did a thoughtful birthday touch which felt personal. A small but adorable detail: they have cute little sunbeds for kids on the beach."

Not a dislike, but good to know - because it’s built on a hill, you’ll use the resort shuttle frequently, but it’s part of what creates the privacy and views.

The restuarabt has all type of food with open air breakfast. Stuff at resturant are well monitored and serves with a smile. The place has got its on weather that you can love Once in Siavonga the road signs are well placed gor direction"

I qm afraid of heights i was given the highest level room. Network was a glitch. The admin stuff took 24hrs ti solve which made me away from connectivity and miss some work.. i was far away from the resturant and places of activities My parking bay was taken

"From arriving up to leaving, it was perfect! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Stuff is always doing the best service, from the reception over the cleaning staff to the restaurant! Even there was a animation for kids at the pool what our son really enjoyed. The Chef cooking delicious meals and sharing some special tip to make your food better! The waiters have done always a great job , Jonathan was always having some jokes to made us laugh. Cleaning staff always was respecting your privacy and when told them come back at time they was at the point! At the point a perfect stay what I can just recommend."

La playa es algo salvaje e imposible para entrar al agua. Hay que caminar un rato y hay una playita muy tranquila donde si es posible banarse.

"The apartments are located in a beautiful area, offering a peaceful atmosphere and views of the greenery surrounding the entire valley. The apartments are clean and functional, with internet access at satisfactory speed. This is a good choice for a relaxing stay. Nearby the SPA, there are a few walking trails, and for those seeking more, Velika planina is close by. The breakfast is satisfactory, and the staff was friendly and accommodating."

The pools are modest compared to other spa resorts, but a new complex is currently under construction.

En el gimnasio no funcionaban las maquinas. La habitación está bien es limpia y cómoda pero se podría actualizar un poco la decoración. Por ser un resort en el precio podría estar incluido el desayuno

"La ubicación tan cerca de Port Denarau. La piscina era bien grande y había muchas hamacas alrededor. En la cena fuimos al puerto, pero hay una pizzería donde comimos uno de los días cuando terminó nuestra excursión que muy bien."

The Resort is very isolated, and expensive to go anywhere. You are actually quite captive. Off season is not the time to go here. There are very few options for activities outside the resort. Apart from an island tour which is well worth doing, you are really confined to barracks, book reading (no TVs) and waiting for sunset drinks. Yes, there is some good snorkelling, swimming and kayaking, but that's it. No TV's or DVD library, no games as such. So, it's an awfully long way to go, and very expensive for just this. Unless of course that's what you're looking for.

"Nice and spaceous property just a 5-10 min drive from Tahko Ski Resort. 3 of the rooms out of 4 had private bathrooms, which was very convinient. Also the sauna was very specious. Would come back again!"

La limpieza del baño no estuvo bien, no hicieron la cama el primer día, la alfombra no fue aspirada los 3 días que estuvimos. El personal del Service carece de preparación para dar un servicio óptimo. ( Les falta amabilidad)

El almuerzo y la cena esos dos tiempos de comida deberían de variar un poco o usar otro tipo de condimentos que le den sabor porque realmente a veces no se le siente gusto a la comida excepto el desayuno que es exquisito

Falta una puerta intermedia entre la cama y la exterior de la habitación para aislar mejor los ruidos del pasillo.

"The view from our room, any room in fact, looked out over the crashing waves that rolled in from the Indian Ocean. Biggest room weve had in Bali.The staff were ready to look after our every whim. They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."

"Exceptional staff that turn this hotel into an unforgettable getaway. The whole place truly transports you somewhere else. The staff, coming from all over the Caribbean, were incredibly warm and friendly, making our stay feel genuinely special. The owner was fantastic—always present, talking with us, sharing stories, and really bringing them to life. It has been a delightful trip and a wonderful stay. We travelled with kids and it was the perfect set up. There are no real windows (only blinds and mosquito nets), so when the kids got loud, the neighbors could hear us. However room ventilation is really good, as there is a nice breeze at night. The location is also very convenient, well connected to both the north and the south. The food was surprisingly very good for a 4 night stay, breakfast was delicious. The pool and surroundings are wonderful. Would stay here every time I go back to Dominica."

The beach sand was a bit uncomfortable with lots of rocks and twigs.
