"Desde hace algunos años viajo a Asunción y más allá de lo bello del hotel en si y sus instalaciones quiero mencionar que en cada estadía el trato ha sido super cordial, y destacar particularmente la actitud de los dueños del lugar (Rosario y Armando) pues de manera desinteresada me han brindado su ayuda con una situación personal, algo que no tengo manera de pagar sino es con agradecimiento. De la misma forma quiero agradecer a Lucía quién estuvo siempre pendiente y a la orden con sus sugerencias y buen humor haciendo más que grata la estadía (gracias por el gesto con mi acompañante)."

"My stay felt like I was sharing a day in a family's life. Beautiful hotel set in a huge house, with lots of character. The pool was nice. The staff was really friendly and the manager even spoke fluent French. The hotel is located in a more residential area, so you can catch a glimpse of what "real life" is over there."

"I didn't meet other guests, but I can't blame the hotel for that. The pool area must be a lot of fun when the hotel is full."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Ross Char Hotel. It was in a great location in Asuncion, where it was quite safe to walk around. There are shops around, and a well-stocked mini-supermarket across the street with lots of really cold beverages and snacks. The hosts were wonderful, and it felt like being at home with a welcoming family. The facilities (garden, pool) were lovely although I was only there two days and I didn't have time to swim. My requests were all met without any problems (change of room, heating up food, breakfast). The wifi worked well (even in the garden), although I didn't try anything heavy like video meetings. The room had a fridge which I used to store leftovers."

"The staff were lovely and very helpful. They made you feel at home. The bedrooms are big and comfortable, with good aircon. The breakfast was delicious. I absolutely loved the garden and relaxing by the pool. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Lorenzo. He helped me install a Sim on my phone, and when it wouldn't install properly, he personally drove me to the phone office at the mall and helped me register the card. A message to foreign visitors trying to install a phone sim - this is not easy to do without Paraguayan identity or a lot of time. Other members of the staff were also helpful and friendly. If you stay here, don't forget to pet Mila, the dog! The hotel itself is in a big house-like structure with lots of artwork and beautiful places to relax. There are some good restaurants nearby and a grocery store across the street."

"The lighting in my room was horrible, so I asked for a couple portable lamps. The bathroom, in particular, was dark, too dark to see for shaving. The breakfast was OK, and it was served individually each day. It was the same each day and consisted of a lot of bread. I would have liked a little more variety."
