"- a good no-nonsense hostel with a well-equipped kitchen, friendly staff in a funny historical building - the manager (owner?) was really kind and gave good recommendations about what to see in the city - the bakery is just a few doors away and has really nice pastries, the fruit vendor and supermarket are also very close - so super convenient. Nice portugese restaurant at the street corner - location is 20 min walking from city centre, but this really isn't a problem, because you get to see a more authentic side of Porto without all the tourist shops. Also both busstop and metro are really close."

"- the bathroom on the first floor, facing the backyard, is very comfortable, but it lacks privacy due to the glass door. In the evening the window reflection makes sure that you can see into the bathroom. If there could be translucent foil/curtains on the glass door, it would help."

"The location is amazing, there’s a supermarket and a coffee shop just beside the hostel! The staffs are nice and the place was always clean. I would recommend it, and for sure I will be back soon."

"Reception was super nice! (Shout out to the guy from Argentina). Price was great! Garden and bathrooms were very nice. Very close to metro."

"Definitely some little quirks that come with the price! Any emergency vehicles that drove by were very loud (I was on ground floor)."
