"Nos dieron un apartamento completo con baño y cocina equipada, por lo que lo teníamos todo a mano. La pareja que lo regenta es sumamente amable. Está muy bien situado de camino a Arthur's Pass."

"We made a last minute booking at Smylies and were very pleased with the accommodation. Friendly welcome from Keiko who showed us to our motel room. Good sized room with a well equipped kitchen for self catering. Nice big comfy bed and hot shower with a nice lounge area & TV. We were next to the main road but it wasn't too busy or noisy. We had a great night's sleep. The grounds are varied with animals nearby, a lush garden to explore and outdoor seating for relaxing. We were invited to visit the library and games area if we wanted. Colin was happy to share useful advice about the weather conditions and places we could visit along route to our next stay which we accepted and enjoyed along our journey. Many thanks Colin! We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at Smylies."

"Very clean and comfortable room. Well equipped. Super nice decorations and design, lots of books, games, movies. The laundry was very convenient. The bathrooms were squeaky clean. The animals are cute. You can rent bouldering gear."

"Great place in Springfield. Pet friendly so I could have my new puppy in the unit - crate trained. Motel unit had everything I needed for my stay, including a walk-in shower and small kitchen. Cosy"
