"Nos recibió una amiga de los propietarios y fue encantadora. Estuvimos charlando con ella en la cena y nos dejó un montón de cosas preparadas para desayunar, eso estuvo genial. La ubicación es buena si vas a ir a visitar Hobbiton y la casa es muy curiosa, con decoración bonita y si hubiese hecho buen tiempo, seguro que está genial disfrutar de la barbacoa allí."

"Al ser una casa tan grande, de techos altos y en medio del campo, había muchas arañas y yo les tengo pánico. Abrí la cama y apareció una araña muy grande y negra, lo que me dejó mal cuerpo para dormir allí la verdad. El baño es compartido y las otras huéspedes no habían sido muy cuidadosas, nos encontramos el WC manchado, una cuchilla de depilar encima del montón de toallas de uso común y, como la ducha no tiene mámpara, el suelo muy mojado de todo el baño. La casa tiene encanto, pero justo nos tocó una noche de tormenta y viento muy fuerte, por lo que al ser una casa de madera, crujía mucho y se escuchaba muchísimo la tormenta, asustaba un poco. Aún así, fue una experiencia diferente, en un alojamiento muy curioso, por lo que poniendo un poco más de atención al tema limpieza, estaría muy guay."

"We had such a wonderful stay after a trip to Hobbiton. The house is beautiful and Jen & Demi were such wonderful hosts, for both us and our three children. They made a fire pit to toast marshmallows and laid on a delicious breakfast spread. Thank you!"

They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Really cool timber frame home with an artistic vibe. Close to the town of Matamata."

"Amazing concept put together by the owner of the house who built it himself. The house is a perfect blend of form and functionality. House with no nails! We had learnt alot about the building when chatting with Jen. She's such a darling and hosted us with warmth and care. The views were stunning. Couldn't agree more that it's a million dollars view. Star gazing at night was a bonus. And yes, we also spotted the milky way!"
