"La verdad es que ha sido toda una experiencia. Nos ha encantado el entorno de la granja, la hospitalidad de Lyndal y Steve y la estancia en general. El desayuno, elaborado con productos caseros, espectacular. Ideal si lo que quieres es desconectar en la naturaleza."

They were a great team who welcomed us with gracious hospitality and were glad to involve us in some animal routines at our level of interest & ability, which was very cool! Accommodations where very comfortable and our brief time was enriching. Highly recommend!"

"Wonderful hosts who were very warm and welcoming. This is a working farmstead and as such visitors should understand that you will be invited to partake in feeding the young animals- for me, this was a joy. We were offered a vast array for breakfast where almost everything was homemade."

"Stay 2, Nov9th2023 Their advised evening meal available on request was not available when we asked (well in advance) with the host saying they were too busy coming up to Christmas.to provide evening meals. If we had known that we couldn't get a meal before our card was charged, we would have stayed closer to somewhere we could get food. Still a lovely place to stay, just dine elsewhere to avoid disappointment."

"The location suited perfectly. Our hostess was friendly and professional. We had a spacious, light-filled room, with all amenities. The separate entrance was useful with parking close by. Our room looked out onto a lovely green garden and it was exceptionally quiet. It is conveniently situated close to the beach"

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
