"Fuimos a este establecimiento por recomendación de unos amigos y la verdad es que estuvimos muy a gusto. Cogimos habitación estándar porque queríamos dos camas y estuvimos muy bien, aunque la habitación era muy pequeña estaba muy bien organizada, se había rentabilizado cada rincón. También está muy cerca de los templos más importantes, Durbar square, templo dorado y templo de Shiva (este último tiene una actividad increíble, merece la pena visitarlo a primera hora del día o a la tarde). Cenamos en la habitación con el templo de los hare crishna y los canticos de fondo, fue muy agradable."

"Tuvimos mala suerte con los vecinos, era verano, hacia mucha calor y la gente que no podía dormir salía fuera con el móvil a todo volumen incluso ponían el altavoz portátil. Fue duro, pero no fue todas las noches y si cierras las ventanas no se está tan mal, eso sí con el ventilador encendido porque sino te mueres de calor. Tampoco me hizo mucha gracia que los dueños a la noche se fueran del establecimiento y no aparecían hasta las 8.00 de la mañana. Una opinión personal, entiendo que tienen sus vidas pero si surge algún problema los huéspedes nos lo comemos o nos las ingeniamos hasta que vuelvan. Por desgracia, la convivencia no es como debiera y cada vez es más difícil de conseguir."

"My second stay at Varja House and just as special as the first time around. Sajesh the owner helped me organise all my bus trips in Nepal and also showed me around Patan when he was not too busy. I felt part of the community around the square where the guest house is located. All those lovely people there made my trip and stay very special and enjoyable!"

"I would give 12/10. My favorite Guest House in Nepal by far. Perfect location right in the heart of Patan. Traditional Nepalese house renovated to a high standard. Spacious, clean and cozy rooms with nice bathrooms and some with a beautiful wooden balcony. Super helpful management and very friendly staff, made me feel right at home. I can only recommend it when in the Kathmandu valley."
