"Breakfast was a feast of fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, breads, cakes and homemade jams - a wonderful experience. It was only surpassed by the warmth and care shown us by wonderful owner Gisele and her fantastic staff Samira and Hayalt who brought tea and cakes to our room in the late afternoon any time we were around. Really you are treated like family members and the Riad itself is beautiful, filled with outsider art and beautiful objects and furnishings. It is central and safe and the welcome is warm, generous and authentic."

"We had a wonderful stay at Riad Emotion, the team looked after us incredibly well, going out of their way to make our trip to Essaouira as comfortable as possible and accommodate our requests. Hayaat and her team provided an amazing breakfast every day - on the incredible roof terrace. The central location was perfect for us allowing us to venture our into the medina every morning, and only a short walk away from the port and the beach. It was also very peaceful as it was just set back from the main road. Thank you!"

The location is perfect for exploring the medina, with the riad itself then providing an oasis of calm afterwards, with lots of lovely spots to relax and read in. The women who work there are lovely and the owners were very helpful in providing recommendations for places to go and making reservations for us. We would definitely stay again!"
