Complejo Hotelero Gutenbergs is family-run alojamiento set in the centre of the Old Town of Riga, next to the Dome Square and Dome Cathedral. Located in 17th and 19th century connected buildings, guests can choose between luxurious chandeliers, high ceilings, historical engravings, paintings and antique furniture in one part of the alojamiento and 300-year old wooden balks, sloping floors and lower ceilings in the other. Decorated in a boutique style, rooms feature air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, mini bar, safe and warm blankets. Bathrooms offer a hair dryer and bio cosmetics. Upper class rooms boast a coffee machine for guests and Luxury Suite has bathrobes and slippers. Freshly ground coffee and a wide breakfast buffet with local delicacies are served every morning in Hospedería Gutenbergs. Lugar De Alojamiento’s restaurant features a summer terrace above the rooftops of the Old Town and offers meals from seasonal and local products. Reception is open around the clock and personnel will arrange tea, coffee, flowers, tickets to events, tour guides and taxis for each guest. A conference hall with terrace can be booked in advance for different events at an extra charge. Restaurants and pubs, Central Market and Stores, as well as museums and National Opera are within a few minutes’ walking distance from Hotel Boutique Gutenbergs. Secured parking place is located 300 metres away, but Riga International Airport is 10 km away.

"La habitacion era muy amplia y comoda, tenia un hervidor y cafe y té de cortesía. La cama amplia y comoda y buena climatizacion. El baño era un poco pequeño pero limpio. En el descansillo tenian una maquina gratis de agua fria y un microondas. En pleno centro de Riga."
"La llave de la habitacion no era magnetica y pesaba mucho, habia que dejarla en recepcion y pedirla cada vez que volvias, a partir de las 21:30h entre semana, no habia nadie en recepcion y tenias que coger la tuya pero podrias haber cogido cualquiera, poca seguridad en eso."

"El hotel se encuentra en una antigua imprenta, es un edificio histórico por lo que en general las instalaciones son antiguas. Está situado al lado de la catedral así que está muy céntrico. La habitación cuenta con nevera y hervidor y está bien equipada. El desayuno es bastante completo y tiene un estupendo restaurante en la azotea con vistas a la ciudad."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
