"If you expect a camping-site-hut style of accommodation, you won't be disappointed. Bonus points for the minizoo - I counted 50+ species, kids loved it."

"This place is suitable only during summer time and in a sunny or cloudy but no rainny day. The zoo is in the suburbs of the town Ventspilis. The see is really far away and it's imposible to walk to the see. You will always have to drive. It's most suutable for overnight. There's a place for the grill it's good. The WC and shower was in a separate building but it wasquite clean. There was hot water. But we were lucky to have a wonderful weather so no problem. Our cottage was far away from the animals so no smell has been felt. The othe areas are so lucky."

"Well there's no fridge in the room. Only the shared fridge and only one shelf for the 4 person family. So you will have to consume everything and refill it after shopping every single day. The kettle in our room was not working so we used the shared one in the kitchen that was not far away from our cottage."

"Good to stay there for 1 night, cheap price. Stayed in tiny houses, rooms were somewhat clean maybe a bit dusty here and there but survived. Plenty of activities to do there; they had a mini zoo, a playground and you could also play volleyball there. Small house came with a fireplace and a small grill."

"The rooms were a bit cold during the night. The patio’s light infront of the house didnt work. Toilets are in a separate house, i dont like to get dressed every time i need to go to toilet. Water in the toilet and bathroom smelled very bad. The animals in the mini zoo seemed like they’re in a too small cage for them, camel didn’t have any water and the mini zoo could use some renovation. We stayed in house number 3 where we didnt have any wifi, even though we were promised wifi."

"This is the closest as you can be to experience Latvian nature without going to the woods. The host was friendly and helpful. There were animals from all over the world in petting zoo. Very cute 😍 The next best thing to be in the tent. It's eco tourism, glamping the old fashion way 🙂"

"The area and rooms were great, animal farm was interesting. Breakfast buffet is a great value for money."

"We had a double room and had to share one toilet and bathroom with 2 other 4-bed numbers which had families with kids, so it was impossible to use them in the morning/evening; the bed was also very uncomfortable. The farm animals were cute, but some of them seemed to be in a space that's too small for them."

"It felt like we came to granny's farm. Every place was olddated but spotless. I had very cozy and safety feeling when I started to sleep in soft panda-sheets :) Ever our teenager son loved mini zoo!"
