"Las vistas eran muy bonitas, la cama cómoda y el dueño es encantador, está atento para ayudar en todo, tiene un cuaderno en el que puedes ver las diferentes actividades recomendadas para hacer en Haputale. Tuvimos mala suerte de que hizo viento y justo en ese lateral de la casa pegaba muy fuerte el viento."

The owner was so warm and friendly, going the extra mile for us to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food was incredible - tasty and so much variety. Great location too - 10 minute tuktuk into town and a short walk from a lovely cafe for brunch and a coffee Can't recommend this place enough!"

"We loved staying with Jagath for three days. He and his family were so warm, welcoming, and helpful. He had good knowledge of the local area and gave us good recommendations, and organised our transfer to Tangalle. The food was incredible. Jagath’s wife cooked 5 or 6 different curries every night, which were all delicious. Rooms are simple and clean with wonderful views of the landscape. The train track runs just below the property so you can see the train a couple of times a day (no noise disturbance though). Thank you Jagath for taking such good care of us!"

"Jagath is the most helpful and friendly host. And what he can’t offer, he hands over to his wife. She’s the powerhouse in the kitchen. What a meal! We had dinner on both nights. So delicious and exciting to see the food on the table. What a treat. There’s no WiFi here, so bring your own data, or ignore your phone and rather focus on the view. If mosquitos are a problem, Jagath will provide a net. We slept so well, and we visited twice in two weeks. Can definitely recommend this Homestay. We’ll be back!"

"Estuvimos 2 días y nos encantó, nos ayudaron a hacer el safari, visita a la playa, paseo de tarde muy bonito....es un alojamiento básico para los que les guste salirse de los sitios turísticos, encontrarás ranitas en la habitación y baño nosotros no nos importó. Se ven iguanas por allí Cogimos una habitación para los 4 y bien."

"Estuvimos muy a gusto en la casa. Es una familia agradable y tranquila. Nos dieron te de recibimiento y un zumo (el mejor que he tomado desde que estoy aquí) por la mañana antes de irnos! Tienen agua caliente y la habitación tiene dos amplias camas, una de ellas con mosquitera, aunque no vimos apenas mosquitos. El ventilador hace un poco de ruido y un AC que la verdad no pusimos porque la temperatura era agradable. Cerca de la casa hay una cascada que visitamos (Ellewalla) que mereció mucho la pena. El trayecto es precioso, un embalse con árboles hundidos y después de un paseito llegas a la cascada, donde no había nadie."
