"Posición inmejorable, playa fantástica, buena piscina, habitación enorme, personal Muy amable. Dicho esto es bastante sorprendente la casi absoluta imposibilidad de comunicarse en inglés. Teníamos la cena incluida, y organizaron una especie de barbacoa en los jardines, pero era imposible entender el funcionamiento, que había para comer, o como funcionaba cualquier cosa. En el desayuno, que consistía en un pequeño buffet no había café ni té...solo comida. Pedimos café y cuando ya habíamos terminado 25 minutos después, lo trajeron... simplemente no están acostumbrados al turismo occidental, aunque hacen todo lo posible para mejorarlo."

"Laya Waves is in the most beautiful location. It’s right on a stunning beach. It’s a small hotel which has a lovely feel to it. The staff were friendly and helpful. They tried to teach us some Sri Lankan ! The views from the balcony are amazing. There’s lots of nice restaurants close by which did amazing seafood. Just turn right out of the hotel and keep walking. There’s an ATM nearby and a little mini market. We loved the street dogs that visited, especially Hopper who only had 3 working legs !"
"We didn’t have any complaints about the hotel- it was what we expected! The only things I would mention are the breakfast could be improved, the towels were very old and scruffy as was the cushions for the sun loungers. The bathroom looked like it had been partly updated except for the shower which really needed replacing. We did have hot water though!"

"Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. We ordered some meals for our dinner selecting from the alacarte menu. It was so delisious and portion also great that we didnt expect. Thanks to the cheff and all the supportive staff. I have no doubts in recomending the hotel for any body who wants to see pasikuda and around with great comforts."

"The location is stunning, swimming pool is huge and well maintained. Stunning view on the ocean. Not many tourists so you feel like you are on your own on a beautiful clean beach. Rooms were ok and big enough with great view. Food was good too and staff was very kind."
