"Not well maintained, there were 4 toothbrushes found in the kitchen, the washing machine was dirty inside, and the mattress had stains on it as well. We had to go to Cargills in Havelock mall to buy cleaning products and a broom, as the one left in the apartment was filled with hair, so we couldn't use it. There was only 1 key, and when we requested a second copy of the key and finally received it, it malfunctioned in the door handle and didn't work... so we were only left with 1 key. There was also a balcony whereas the booking mentioned terrace. You also need to pay for the duration of your stay upfront and not upon departure. This is not mentioned on the booking.com website if you're booking from Australia."

"I recently stayed at this lovely apartment and had a fantastic experience. The apartment is beautiful and in a very convenient location. The kitchen was spotlessly clean and had all the kitchenware we needed. The staff were very helpful as well, making our stay even more enjoyable. My family and I were very happy with our stay, and we will definitely choose this apartment for our next visit as well. Highly recommended!"

"Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet. Alles da was man braucht. Das Personal super im Kontakt, jederzeit erreichbar. Es gibt um die Ecke ein shopping mall mit einem food core. Im 2. Stock ein Pool und Restaurant und vieles mehr. Die Aussicht war sehr schön, man konnte den Sonnenuntergang und die skyline Colombo genießen."

"Estuvimos 2 días y nos encantó, nos ayudaron a hacer el safari, visita a la playa, paseo de tarde muy bonito....es un alojamiento básico para los que les guste salirse de los sitios turísticos, encontrarás ranitas en la habitación y baño nosotros no nos importó. Se ven iguanas por allí Cogimos una habitación para los 4 y bien."

"Estuvimos muy a gusto en la casa. Es una familia agradable y tranquila. Nos dieron te de recibimiento y un zumo (el mejor que he tomado desde que estoy aquí) por la mañana antes de irnos! Tienen agua caliente y la habitación tiene dos amplias camas, una de ellas con mosquitera, aunque no vimos apenas mosquitos. El ventilador hace un poco de ruido y un AC que la verdad no pusimos porque la temperatura era agradable. Cerca de la casa hay una cascada que visitamos (Ellewalla) que mereció mucho la pena. El trayecto es precioso, un embalse con árboles hundidos y después de un paseito llegas a la cascada, donde no había nadie."

"Perfect family getaway at Padmi Villa! We travelled to Weligama, Sri Lanka with our teenager in February 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The second floor was exclusively for our family, and the space was perfect. The location is fantastic, and the host family were invaluable in helping us discover the best local spots. They were incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The villa is well-equipped, and the kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals. We were even treated to delicious traditional food on our last day! We highly recommend Padmi Villa to families looking for a comfortable and authentic stay"
