"Babar Point es un lugar mágico. Desde el primer momento que entras percibes la buena energía de Catherine y Michel y de todo su equipo. La ubicación es perfecta, en plena naturaleza y a 5 minutos caminando de un pico de surf muy bueno para todos los niveles. Después te puedes relajar en su estupenda piscina. Además, si prefieres algo más concurrido, Arugam Bay está a tan solo 20 minutos en tuk tuk. También puedes comer y desayunar bien en el restaurante del hotel regentado por Joey, que es un buen profesor de surf. En definitiva, Catherine y Michel han creado un lugar muy especial del que no te vas a querer ir."

"Tanto a mi como a mi pareja nos encantó absolutamente todo de la estancia. La pareja que lo lleva son super profesionales y encantadores. Nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitábamos. El personal es muy atento y respetuosos. También añadir que si estás buscando un lugar donde poder hacer surf es el sitio ideal. A tan solo 5 minutos andando tienes Pittovil point que es espectacular para surfear y con menos gente que Arugam Bay."

"The hosts were lovely! Very friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome instantly. The staff were also great! The hotel is in a perfect location by the sea, with an in-house surf coach with a selection of boards available for hire also. The restaurant runs all day and serves a variety of tasty food. We have food allergies and they catered for this very well."

"Unforgettable stay! Every small detail was thought of. The restaurant is amazing and they even prepared my girlfriend a small surprise for her birthday. The owners make sure you feel at home all the time. You can walk to a beautiful beach in front of the cottages or you can enjoy the beautiful pool. We also took a surf class with Joy (who works in the restaurant) and we managed to surf some waves at sunrise completely alone in this magical place. In summary, our best stay in Sri Lanka. Everything was magical."

"Wow. I'm going to struggle to find words to describe this place. This is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in so far. It's a beautiful complex filled with love and care. Michel and Catherine are the perfect hosts, and you can talk to them about anything - they are more than happy to help. The pool is beautiful and the bungalows are perfect (love the shower rooms!) The beach is what we call a beach!! Isolated with a little beach shack selling tea/coffee cold drinks, etc. We enjoyed chatting to the local fishermen early in the morning, and we swam each day too - the waves are great fun!! The restaurant onsite is run by a local village man. Michael and Catherine have given him the opportunity to use the space for a year. We had delicious food both for breakfast and dinners. My son said that they were the best burgers he had ever tasted! 😉 We can not thank our hosts enough. Wish that we could have stayed longer."

"We stayed 5 nights in 2 bungalows (family/teenage sons), perfect set up at this fantastic hotel. It is run by a lovely Swiss couple who have created an oasis in a calm beach front location. Friendly and super helpful, you are the ultimate hosts. This place is perfect for travellers who prefer nature and calm but still in easy distance from Arugam Bay. Would also suit couples, as accommodation is so chilled and romantic.The separate bungalows and beautiful pool, all spotlessly clean. The restaurant on site is very well run by lovely local people, delicious food, you need to ask for the special Sri Lanka menu and order your SL breakfast day in advance. Good value, fresh nutritious and delicious food. Thank you Catherine and Michel for having us, and your genuine care and hospitality."

"There was nothing we didn't like. Very satisfied guests! Also to mention that the air con light at nighttime which was mentioned in a previous review is easily solved by just pressing the button which switches off that particular indicator light (but keeps a/c on)."
