"Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The place was spotless, everything was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed and making us feel right at home. We truly had a fantastic experience and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. "This is a lovely home, not a hotel. There is a small but lovely beach about 15 minutes walking where you can see turtles and swim with them. If it is busy, people will be there renting tubes for floating and masks, but maybe not every day. Look for the red balls/buoys in the water-- grass grows there and if you snorkel around you will see turtles. We also saw a stingray! Anyway, the family who run this place are lovely and they will make you breakfast and help you in any way they can. The place is immaculate and such a lovely house, and I wish we could have stayed longer. If you're into touristy places, this isn't it. For me, this was the first beach stay in Sri Lanka that I loved because it was not touristy and everyone at the home and in the town was so kind to us. She let us use her kitchen and everything, but I felt bad because they always wanted to do the dishes and not let me do them. They are all very kind. Thank you so much!!"

"Exceptionnel !! D’une propreté irréprochable ! Un accueil chaleureux , un petit dej délicieux , inquiets de savoir ce qu’on veut au petit dej , nous avons pu faire 2 machines à laver sans rien demander en retour ! Et pour repartir sur Bentota nous ne trouvions pas de chauffeur du coup c’est un membre de la famille qui nous y a conduit ! Allez y les yeux fermés !"

"Estuvimos muy a gusto en la casa. Es una familia agradable y tranquila. Nos dieron te de recibimiento y un zumo (el mejor que he tomado desde que estoy aquí) por la mañana antes de irnos! Tienen agua caliente y la habitación tiene dos amplias camas, una de ellas con mosquitera, aunque no vimos apenas mosquitos. El ventilador hace un poco de ruido y un AC que la verdad no pusimos porque la temperatura era agradable. Cerca de la casa hay una cascada que visitamos (Ellewalla) que mereció mucho la pena. El trayecto es precioso, un embalse con árboles hundidos y después de un paseito llegas a la cascada, donde no había nadie."

"Perfect family getaway at Padmi Villa! We travelled to Weligama, Sri Lanka with our teenager in February 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The second floor was exclusively for our family, and the space was perfect. The location is fantastic, and the host family were invaluable in helping us discover the best local spots. They were incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The villa is well-equipped, and the kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals. We were even treated to delicious traditional food on our last day! We highly recommend Padmi Villa to families looking for a comfortable and authentic stay"
