JUN house - Foreign Only

"Estuvimos en Jun house y la experiencia no pudo ser mejor. La casa está muy limpia, bien equipada y es muy cómoda. El barrio está muy bien con muchos restaurantes y mercado local. La línea del metro está cerca. Los dueños de la casa son maravillosos y se preocuparan de que no te falte de nada."

"I like the place because was close to the event I need to go in 연제중학교 for a test, and the bed was comfortable and the heat blanket was amazing, and the host seems trying to helpful even not speaking English."

"Didn't have much clear instructions for check-in before arrival, so when I arrived there for a few minutes, went to the supermarket to pass the time because I was 30 minutes earlier than I said that I'd arrive. Had a little problem with the air conditioner so I basically need to wait a bit waiting them to fix, the problem was they was stepping on my bed to fix the air conditioner. And the wi-fi writing on the wall had wrong passport, or at least not written correctly. And was so cold the toilet..."

"Cute house, in a nice neighborhood, also quite easy access with taxi’s and the subway was on a walking distance."

"It’s not a dislike, but personally i was a bit shy to shower in the common area, so i just went to a bathhouse that was very close by, and because of that i got to experience that as well, which i liked so i wouldn’t say it’s bad, but just a personal thing"

"great location, very well connected and near useful stations like yeonsan and geoje and near the city hall area but still quiet! The facilities were great too, like the AC in the room and laundry facilities."

"The room is not an apartment or villa as described, but a cabin situated in a courtyard. It is rather cramped with little space to put things and nowhere to hang clothes. The small entrance area served as both kitchenette and shower area. The shared toilet adjoined a local's accommodation and could not be locked from the inside to prevent entry from his side."

"Steep stairs, difficult to carry suitcase and especially in the rain. Caretakers gladly assist with luggage . Taxi couldn't find location. Bathroom was a wet room and there was insufficient bench space for clothes and toiletries and inadequate ventilation."

"The host is fantastic and helpful in every way. When one of us had a spot of food poisoning, she brought us home remedies and congee! The flat itself is functional if a bit worn, and the location is good, if not super central, but the metro station is only a short walk away, so getting around isn't hard!"

"It was not clear in the description that the second bedroom is only included if you book for more than two people. We ended up paying extra to have the second bedroom."

"Jun House is a lovely little rooftop apartment that is clean and well maintained with a seperate outdoor area that is available for the sole use of the visitor. The host and her family live downstairs but they generally keep to themselves. The host is lovely, and is very competent at using a translator app to communicate with visitors from foreign countries. Her sister is able to speak English so this made communication a little easier at times. We mentioned that we had trouble finding a restaurant that could serve breakfast so the next morning the host cooked breakfast for us consisting of eggs with cheese and some fruit and milk drinks, she was very hospitable and loved having us stay with her."

"When we arrived there was only one bed in the apartment even though it was advertised as a two bedroom apartment with three beds (one queen bed in the main bedroom and two futons in the second bedroom). We were able to have a heated mat, a pillow and a quilt added to the second bedroom for an additional fee. A proper mattress or bed would have been more comfortable."

"This was a very comfortable property, with a lot with of privacy. It was fitted with all amenities including a washing machine and a very comfortable bed. It was very clean. Very roomy. Makes for a very relaxing experience. Do have to walk a flight of stairs. It was a great experience, the hosts were very pleased and welcoming. Absolutely an ideal place for a travelling couple, short walk to 2 different stations (lines)."
