"As a couple we stayed 2 nights. Had a great time, breakfast & dinner was perfect prepared from scratch from local produce by Sandra, we were made very welcome by our hosts. the views were stunning, we enjoyed watching the ever changing clouds dance around the mountain tops. Ken & Sandra took us to a local bar & was lovely to experience the local way of life. Also we went to the coffee farm this was also interesting to see how they farm this hill side area without any machinery. We parked our hire car at Mavis Bank with luggage we didnt need inside & was safe being next to the police station then it was a bumpy 45min 4x4 truck ride up which was all part of the fun. Would we go back? Yes, but would like stay long so we could settle more into mountain life & next time do the hike to the summit. Thank you to all at Jays rest 2 & hope to visit again sometime in the future, Mick & Helen"

"The location was great right on main street and within walking distance of everything you need. Apartment was clea, cosy and came with everything you needed including items such as tea bags coffee, some drinks in the fridge and a complementary welcome bottle of wine. The host offers a housekeeper for you during your stay who refreshes the apartment. The host was also extremely responsive and fixes any issues you may have in a timely manner even though it was completely out of her control which we are extremely grateful for."
