"We were moved to the Thorshamar House instead of the Cave Apartment (unknown circumstances). The house was so cosy and beautiful. We loved our stay. It felt so homely. Bed was very comfortable. House was clean. Bonus that there's a washer and a dryer in the bathroom. Our host Karen was so lovely and spoilt us with all the food she brought. She is very quick to respond to my queries. Wifi connection - excellent! Such a shame we were only there for 1 night."

"Struttura caratteristica immersa in una piccola cittadina a nord dell’Islanda. Molto tranquillo. I servizi impeccabili, cucina estremamente fornita. Colazione inclusa nell’edificio a fianco dove non è mancato nulla! Complimenti"

"Questa splendida casetta ci ha accolti per una notte lungo il nostro percorso sulla ring road. Spaziosa e comoda, arredata in maniera moderna e con gusto dei dettagli, la cucina era accessoriata con tutto e anche di più! Ci sono vari elettrodomestici e non manca nulla per cucinare, potete anche farvi una torta se ne avete il tempo, c'è tutto l'occorrente! Il letto è comodo e grande e il bagno, enorme! Abbiamo usufruito della colazione compresa con il nostro alloggio e abbiamo cenato nel ristorante che poi è anche l'unico del paese. Un saluto a Karen che ci ha ospitati."

"gemütlich und ruhig gelegenes Apartment im Dorf, in welchem man eine Tankstelle, Schwimmbad und bewirtschaftetes Dorfgemeinschaftshaus findet, die Holtið Kitchen Bar. Hier kann man Abendbrot Essen (Buffet oder a la Cart) und das Frühstück ist hier ebenfalls in Buffetform, alles nur 1min vom Apartment entfernt oder man geht/holt sich was in der Tankstelle. Das Apartment selbst ist recht neuwertig und sehr gut ausgestattet so dass man sich auch selbst verpflegen könnte. Ein Großteil ist mit Fußbodenheizung unterlegt. Bei schönem Wetter kann man eine Sitzecke im Außenbereich nutzten, die ist allerdings zur Straße hin und man wird wahrgenommen"
