The weakest part of the hotel is the restaurant catering for breakfasts and all meals: the place that looks like a canteen, is not welcoming. The prices for food are for too expensive. The food is good quality. Spiritless Hotel as it feels very empty.

"Buen hotel en general. Nos quedamos en la habitación con jacuzzi. A mi hija de 5 años le encanto. Su personal fue muy amable siempre. La playa excelente. Es muy grande. El hotel esta a 12 min. en taxi de Miami Beach, una de las mejores playas de Barbados. La comida un poco picante para nuestro gusto, pero se puede comprar comida para cocinar."

"Our NGO had a conference in the hotel. the staff was excellent in preparing the conference room and addressing out needs. The conference catered food was excellent. I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and had breakfast every day. After the first 2 days, I realized that one could order eggs or omelet. Which was fine but why didn't they tell me at the beginning? Fruit selection was good. Coffee was also good. the wam milk for coffee was frequently empty but refilled on request."

"Absolutamente todo. El concepto del hotel es “usted no se preocupe de nada, solo debe descansar y divertirse”, y todo lo que hace falta para conseguirlo es de lo que ellos se encargan. Sería interminable enumerar la lista de detalles de calidad y buen gusto de todo el personal del Penha Longa, siendo prácticamente imposible destacar a alguno de ellos, pero tengo que resaltar la labor de Carlos Gómez, de Magdalena en recepción, de su encargada,…en resumen, de todo el personal de cada una de las distintas y variadas estancias de este espléndido hotel, ubicado en un marco incomparable, en el que decenas de personas se afanan cada minuto del día para hacerte sentir como en casa, con resultado claramente positivo en nuestro caso. Gracias."

No me gustó que solo hubiese un cargador en toda la habitación.

"I really enjoyed my stay here - the hotel is like an oasis of calm in Bissau. Staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful - special thanks to Mariama who very kindly went above and beyond her duties to accompany me to the market so I wasn't alone. Good buffet breakfast, clean swimming pool, lovely gardens, spacious rooms. I felt very safe here as a solo female too."

There was nothing I didn't like.

Todo lo que le pedí y más me lo hicieron gustosamente...el trato del personal impecable..llegamos con bastante retraso ( 1 de la noche) y nos enviaron un taxi al aeropuerto con un precio muy razonable. La ubicación ... está dentro del gran bazar, cerca del centro de la ciudad ( 5 minutos andando) La habitación extra grande.. la bañera espectacular"

La señal de wifi deficiente y la calidad del colchón se deberia mejorar El desayuno es un poco repetitivo si estás varios dias Le falta ducha.. solo tiene bañera (caben 2 personas perfectamente)

"A lovely place to stay if you are looking for a little paradise, which is peaceful and calm and still close by all facilites you need. There are complimentary kayaks and snorkelling gear and there is a lovely pool area. The owner Harry and the housekeeper Karen were really amazing and very friendly. There are a few restaurants near by and so is the bus station or rental places where you can hire a car or motorbike."

The only thing I would mention that could be improved in the future is to install an AC. For me the STRONG ventilator was enough as I have no problems with heat and humidity.

El bufet poco variado, prácticamente lo mismo todos los días, muy inglés. Los zumos no merecen la pena. La animación del hotel anticuada.

"las habitación cómoda amplia pero no se dejen llevar por la foto no todas son así! la comida fue lo mejor! usamos media pensión lo cual fue magnífico! ojo no todas las bebidas están incluidas!"

alquilamos la habitación más cara, porque queríamos usar la bañera y tener una habitación más cómoda y amplia, resulta que la bañera al llenarse era con agua amarilla literalmente agua con tierra o óxido! no pude usar lo que vine a usar! pedí algún tipo de reembolso y simplemente se negaron a un tipo de descuento o algo! trabajo en hotel y con huéspedes y en casos así se llega a un acuerdo donde el cliente se vaya contento, lo cual para nosotros no fue lo esperado! un detalle una comida o algún tipo de descuento!
