Había una persona en la casa que estaba haciendo pescado al horno, y lo tuvo ahí durante toda la noche y el día siguiente y en la casa olía fatal, se quedó un olor a pescado que no se iba ni aunque abriesemos las ventanas. Entiendo que es una casa compartida, pero en la casa tienen unas normas de cocina que no se estaban cumpliendo.

We thought the sauna was included in the price but it was not.

"Boendet ligger i Regent som ligger lite högre upp i bergen jämfört med Freetown. Det gör att det är lite svalare och inte så tryckande värme som nere i stan. Det är visserligen en bit att köra om man ska in i centrum, men samtidigt är det inte så mycket bilköer som inne i stan. Värdarna tog hand om oss på ett bra sätt och huset vi hyrde hade rätt bra standard. Hög standard för att vara i Sierra Leone."

Jag har inte något som jag inte tyckte om. Möjligen att du måste ha tillgång till egen transport om du enkelt ska ta dig till och från boendet.

"Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und komfortabel, die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns, dass wir zwei Bäder hatten und der schöne Garten, in dem man gemütlich frühstücken konnte. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gab auch die Möglichkeit dass für uns traditionelles Essen gekocht wird, was sehr lecker war, und unsere Wäsche gewaschen wird. Wir bedanken uns sehr herzlich und freuen uns, nochmal wieder zu kommen :)"

"We enjoyed the cute and small surrounding village and quiet environment with a stunning view of Nile river. The rooms were very clean and spacious and had all the necessary equipment and amenities. The ground staff were also very helpful. The host, Danielle was very helpful for all the questions I had before the trip and she arranged a tour for us. The guide Mohamed was also very helpful and flexible to meet our needs every day and tried to make sure we were happy with the service!"

"Great place. The flat is clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. Two terraces, the opportunity to eat breakfast with a beautiful view is priceless. The owners were VERY helpful and organised a place for us to store our two SUP boards by the beach. We didn't have to move or pump them up every day. THANKS On-site parking. "This was a great house with all the facilities we needed for a 5 night stay. We were a group of 9 which is probably the maximum this house can take, the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was fine for our shorter trip. Everything worked really well and the hotel this villa is connected to had great facilities like a sauna and hottib which were free to use. The host was great, the location for this villa is slightly incorrect on this site as it was a bit further out than we expected but the host was helpful in getting us transport everymoring to the ski centers."

"The location is handy to town if you do not have a car it is a quick 5 minute walk to the main centre. It had all the necessities for our stay. We loved the deck and how quiet it was. The rooms were comfortable and having mesh windows reduced the mozzie bites. The images of the property are exactly what we you get when you hire this beautiful place."

Would have been great to have air con in the back room but the heat was manageable.

Some issues with power on first day then on-going with water & wifi connection - apart from this, it was a good 5 days.

"Khatira, la anfitriona y su marido fueron muy amables. la estancia estaba limpia y las habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas. Había aparcamiento, aunque en la entrada de la casa se podía aparcar sin problemas. Estuvimos muy cómodos."

Quizás el haber estado un poco más céntrico, aunque la distancia no era mucha y ya se avisaba en la reserva.

"El entorno es precioso, la casita con todas las comodidades, la piscina salada...un puntazo, Pero algo insuperable es la calidad humana de los anfitriones. Son maravillosos, nos recibieron con una cesta de fruta ecológica y multitud de información turística y practica. Se nos pincho una rueda y nos recomendaron un lugar que son el nombre de la familia nos abrió puertas y gentileza. el cariño, la amabilidad, la gentileza ...insuperables. Nos enseñaron la propiedad, es ideal tanto para parejas como para grupos grandes. Impresionantes. casa blasonada con chimenea y todo lo necesario y mas con buen gusto. Hay muchos lugares cercanos de interés."

Lo unico que añadiria a la información de la casa, es que edemas de la ubicación, incluyan las indicaciones necesarias para llegar por el lado correcto pues por el otro lado la carretera no es tan buena y para miedosas como yo demasiadas curvas. Pero por el otro lado es perfecto par entrar y salir de la zona.

"Una casa muy limpia y grande, en un entorno natural, precioso y relajante, lejos del bullicio. Cerca de Durmitor. Veselin y Jovana ( los propietarios) son un encanto, adorables y muy familiares, nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos, incluso nos repararon un pinchazo. 100% recomendable!!!"

"We had an amazing stay at Escapes Residence in Cape Maclear. The breathtaking views, modern amenities, and exceptional staff exceeded our expectations. "Casa muy cómoda para pasar unos días y establecer base para ver la zona noreste y centro de la isla. La cama es cómoda, con mosquiteras. Cocina con lo necesario para poder hacerse desayunos y alguna comida simple. Ropa de cama y toallas. Aire acondicionado y wifi bueno."

El tema de la energía eléctrica condiciona un poco la estancia. Hubo cortes de varias horas durante los 4 días, y aunque teníamos un generador a gasolina, por la noche debe apagarse y no permite el uso de AC/wifi. Esto realmente no depende de la casa, ya que las casas de la zona también lo sufren. Solo ha de tenerse en cuenta según las comodidades que uno busque. Nosotros repetiríamos aquí sin dudar a pesar de este "inconveniente".

"Jorge y su señora nos atendieron muy bien, excelentes anfitriones! La cabaña es preciosa y el lugar alejado, pero muy bonito. Todos los detalles del lugar están pensados con cuidado y diseño. Lugar para buscar y disfrutar de la paz."

La cabaña es adecuada para 3 personas cómodas y no 4 como dice la publicación. Algunos problemitas con el agua que asumo responde a San Pedro en sí.

Not a didn’t like but consider one restaurant ‘Tet Rouge’ open a short walk away. Hire car a must for getting about.
