The Vale Resort is set in 650 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside, just a 15 minute drive from Cardiff. The Resort features the largest zona balnearia in Wales, 2 championship golf courses and 2 restaurants. The elegant bedrooms have air conditioning, a seating area and interactive TV with internet access. Some rooms have a private balcony or scenic views across the Vale of Glamorgan countryside. With an AA Rosette, the Vale Grill Restaurant serves modern Welsh cuisine featuring fresh local produce. The Vale Resort Health & Racquets Club features a 20m swimming pool, sauna, steam room and 2 whirlpool baths as well as a large spacious gym. Guests can relax in the hammam y sauna** with its 5 relaxation zones, and luxury treatment rooms. "It was just super! From the reception to the room! Everything was excellent! Breakfast! Pool, sauna, spa services! We ate in the restaurant and in the grill bar... it was very tasty!"

"I upgraded to an executive room and was very dissapointed in that some of the fittings and finishing touches were very tired looking. Our room door was unlocked and open when we arrived which was because it was quite difficult to close and we found we needed to push it very hard to close luckily we weren't up late or we'd disturbe guests by having to slam the door to close. The window frames were very tired looking and the verandah could do with a good clean (walls etc) The lights above our table in the restaurant were out of order which meant we needed to use the torch light on our phone to read the menu, and also were sat for 30 mins before we were able to order even a drink. The food however was beautiful despite time delays between courses."
