"Lovely private villa with fantastic pool area and terrace for eating outdoors. As others have said the views were stunning out to the hills and Antibes bay. Plenty of room. Gated and with driveway so felt very secure. Air con was fantastic although even at 30 degree heat the villa stayed fairly cool. 10 min drive to Vence which is really charming and Saint Jennet was slightly further but had an excellent bakery and super market which was easy to navigate. High speed Internet was reliable. Good multi function shower and two toilets was a plus for a family of five. Host was very friendly and gave thorough explanations of facilities."

"Bit of a trade off for the view but the location definitely meant you needed to drive to reach amenities. There was a bus stop but the road has no pavement so going for a stroll straight from the villa was a no go. As others reviewers have stated the pool could have done with a clean half way through our stay or even if instructions had been left for the cleaning robot they would have sufficed. We struggled a bit with the oven grill setting as we couldn’t get it to work although I’m sure had I contacted the host yet would have been happy to help. These are nitpicking really though as overall it was fab."

"The location was lovely, especially the view. This was the best thing. The house is big enough for 6 people, it’s a shame it doesn’t have a third bathroom, but it has all necessary amenities."

"The main bathroom, especially the tub and the faucets could use a renovation. The doors squeaked a lot, waking up other people. It would have been nice if someone came and cleaned the poop as we didn’t know how to use the cleaning robot effectively."

"The villa was absolutely beautiful. The pool area and the views are even better than the pictures. We stayed for a week and felt it was not long enough. The villa is up in the hills so it is good 30 minute drive from the coast. However, the hill towns are beautiful. Do not miss Vence- we visited on our last evening and the old town is so beautiful and such a lovely vibe in the evenings. Mirrielle was a lovely host and the check in and check out process as easy. The villa was really clean and the pool and gardens were well- maintained. The air con in the rooms was a lovely addition although despite the heat, the house stayed relatively cool without the aircon. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others."

"We would have liked the main bathroom to have had a proper shower which is wall- mounted as there were 5 of us all waiting to use the shower room each evening. This is a minor grumble though and it definitely would not put us off staying again."

"View was outstanding, pool was huge, clean and great for children, lots of outdoor furniture, working barbecue and aircon in all rooms. Nice towns nearby and an absolutely 1st class host who was accommodating all the way. We'll be back!"

"Situated beautifully with panoramic views towards the Med and Antibes. The house is absolutely lovely with masses of ‘hygge’ as we say in Denmark and it’s welcoming and comfortably decorated with a lovely relaxing ambiance. The pool is fab. Deep and cooling. The views wonderful and the hosts attentive and kind."

"The view is breathtaking. The pictures don’t do it justice. Vence is a lovely town and easy access to whole of the riviera. We didn’t want to come home!"

"Villa Vence is well equipped and the layout of the living space is well thought out. There is a door that closes off the bedrooms from the living area of the house, so my husband and I could spend mornings enjoying the amazing view from the terrace while having breakfast while our children slept in. The kitchen and clothes washer are new. The pool lounge furniture has comfortable cushions and it was nice to have pool towels provided. It was hot while we were there so we made good use of the awnings and umbrellas. The AC is also very efficient and cooled the place down nicely when necessary. The villa allowed us to be completely self sufficient while having very easy access to the beautiful town of Vence and other hillside towns."

"This is more of an FYI than a complaint. Due the the roads being so windy it does take about 30 minutes to drive into Nice."
