"Though I arrived late, on a wet and miserable night, (the weather was awful: torrential rain throughout a 8 hour drive from northern Spain), there was a warm welcome at Madelon IV, & the hostess went out of her way to make me feel welcome."

"The hosts were great. Nothing was too much trouble. They provided lots of local information about where to eat and what we could do in the area. The rooms were very large for France. The hotel had a friendly vibe and felt like the locals used it as their local as well as tourists. Nice breakfast - they asked us what we wanted and were happy to prepare eggs for us."

"La verdad es que todo fue excelente y totalmente correcto. La casa es muy cómoda y está muy bien equipada. La calefacción funcionaba de maravilla, algo fundamental teniendo en cuenta el clima frío, y se agradece muchísimo al llegar cansados. Las camas son muy cómodas, la cocina está bien equipada y pensada para el día a día, el calienta toallas es un gran detalle y los espejos son amplios y prácticos. Pero sin dudas, lo mejor de todo fue la atención del dueño. Veníamos de una reserva anterior con una mala experiencia y nos ubicaron aquí, y desde el primer momento el trato fue excepcional. El dueño estuvo siempre pendiente, preguntándonos si necesitábamos algo y dejándonos claro que estaba a nuestra disposición para lo que hiciera falta. Muy amable, muy atento y siempre con buena predisposición. Una experiencia realmente excelente que recomendamos sin dudar."
