"Loved the quiet, the green setting, the spaciousness. Dinner on location is an excellent idea, because there isn't much else in town and we didn't feel like driving any more. There is even a path to take you down to a "beach" on the Loire."
"A bike locker would have been nice; but we were welcome to park the bikes in the hall of the chalet - problem solved!"

"Many thanks to Bruno and Laurent for this wonderful stay. We truly enjoyed being guests at Maison Carpe Diem. The building is beautifully situated with a view of the church and Chateau Gaillard. The banks of the Seine are just a few steps away, and restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. The rooms are beautiful and decorated with great attention to detail; the whole house invites you to feel right at home. In the morning, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast that was freshly prepared and left nothing to be desired. Bruno and Laurent are very attentive and exceedingly friendly hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can unreservedly recommend a stay. Thank you, Bruno and Laurent, for this wonderful start to our holiday. We would love to come back!"

"The Gite Marie was in a lovely quiet location and not too far from the village of Prefailles. There were wonderful walks around the easily accessible Coastal path and there were a few nice sandy coves for swimming/sunbathing within a 10min walk. There are large Supermarkets a short drive away (Leclerc & Super U ) for the grocery shopping etc. The gite was modern and well equipped and was more than adequate for our 2 week holiday. It was wonderful to sit outside on the terrace of an evening and listen to the birdsong ! Good wifi connection The owner Marie and her partner Herve were very friendly and welcoming"
